Scootsurance will now cover COVID-19 related insurance claims, but the policy wording means it's not a green light to travel yet.

Passengers with travel up till 31 December 2020 can now get a full refund (or bonus flight credits), provided they purchased tickets before 16 March 2020.

Pekanbaru, Palembang, Yogyakarta, Kaohsiung, Osaka and Tokyo all join the Scoot network for September 2020.

Singapore Airlines and Scoot passengers with travel up till 31 August 2020 can now receive a full refund, provided they ticketed on/before 15 March 2020.

Scoot adds Surabaya and Taipei to its network for July 2020, with a total of 128 flights planned.
