Announcing the Milelion’s Monthly Miles Meetup for December

Tickets available from 28 November 12pm.

Thank you to all who attended the first ever Milelion’s Monthly Miles Meetup. It was a great time of mixing miles and merriment, and it was fantastic to finally put some faces to names. I really think this event has the potential to grow and look forward to meeting more readers and introducing some new fun elements to future ones (FYI we gave away some Nakiryu cup noodles at the first meetup).

The response to the first event was overwhelming, so I’ve decided to go ahead and organize a meetup for December. Here are the details:

Date: Friday 8 December 2017
Venue: Red Dot Brewhouse, 33/34 Boat Quay, Singapore 049823

Tickets will be available from 12pm on Tuesday 28 November 2017 and are completely free.

We’re going to slightly increase the size of the event to 10 people up from 8 previously, which I think is probably approaching the maximum efficient scale for such an event.

Remember, there’s no fixed agenda. Come on down, buy yourself a drink, and let’s meet fellow miles enthusiasts and make snide comments about our colleagues and family members who use cashback cards.

Final point: we had a couple of no-shows at the first event who didn’t email ahead to let me know they couldn’t make it, and this prevented me from releasing their ticket to someone on the waitlist. Not cool, guys. I understand that plans change, but please do the right thing and drop me a note so someone else can take your place.

Given that you travel so frequently, you should also consider holding meetups overseas. Like in Hong Kong. 😀
