KLM is currently running a flash sale offering flights to Bali for as low as S$159. Tickets must be booked by 2359 on 13 April 2018 and travel validity for tickets bought during this sale is until 30 November 2018.
Tickets must be booked on KLM’s website in order to trigger the flash sale price. At S$159 to Bali on a full service carrier, you’d probably get more value with KLM as compared to the budget options to Bali since you would receive a rather generous baggage allowance with your purchased ticket. This sale price is even lower than what was previously offered in their past sale.
Purchasing through any of the links on this page supports the running of The Milelion through an affiliate commission.
I personally find this a steal and would probably be planning a trip to Bali over the summer holidays if my schedule allows. Keep in mind that the flight to Bali on KLM leaves in the evening so you’d effectively be losing a day, but the return flight from Bali to Singapore departs in the evening giving you a full day on the day which you’re flying back.
KLM operates their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on this Fifth Freedom route from Singapore to Bali and economy class is laid out in a 3-4-3 configuration. But for the short 2 hour hop to Bali, this shouldn’t really present an issue comfort wise. If your pockets are a bit deeper, their World Business Class cabin is also on sale at a price starting from S$570.ย
You could credit your miles to the Flying Blue program when you’re flying with KLM, note that Flying Blue has transitioned to a revenue based program from 1 April 2018 where you’ll earn award miles based on the cost of your ticket in Euros.
