Hilton is having its Asia Pacific sale where hotels in the Asia Pacific region are being discounted by up to 25%. This sale from Hilton runs from now until 2 February 2019 and your stays that are booked in this sale have to be done by 30 September 2019. All stays must be booked at least three (3) days in advance from the actual stay date.
Save up to 25% off room rates in Asia Pacific
In this sale, there are some very attractive room rates that Hilton is offering. In Singapore, all three of Hilton’s properties are on sale:
At the Conrad Singapore, the actual sale price you can get a night’s stay in this sale can go as low as S$247 pre-taxes for a weekend staycation. That’s an excellent price in my opinion and even sweeter if you hold Hilton Honors Gold status and above. Hilton Honors membership is free to sign up and everyone should have an account if you do not already have one by now.
Planning a holiday to North Asia? Hilton properties in Japan and Korea are also on sale:
As always, be sure to click through to the hotel’s website and enter your desired dates for your planned stay to obtain a more accurate price quote.
Opportunity to get Hilton Honors Gold for less than S$100
This sale has unlocked a great opportunity to attain Hilton Honors Gold status for less than S$100. Yes, you read that right. Here’s what Hilton Honors Gold status gives you:
Hilton Honors Gold status is one of the more valuable mid-tier hotel statuses at the present as having it will grant you complimentary breakfast at Hilton Hotels and Resorts. In addition, you will receive space-available upgrades at the hotel where possible.
Normally, you would need at least 40 nights/20 stays/75,000 base Hilton Honors points to attain Gold status in the Hilton Honors program.
Currently, there exists the Visa Fast Track to Gold offer where if you hold a Visa Signature branded credit card and above, you will be eligible to sign up for this challenge. The TLDR for this challenge is that you need to stay a minimum of 2 stays or 4 nights at any Hilton branded property and you will receive Hilton Honors Gold status for at least one year.
Recently, the Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman North and South (that’s a mouthful) opened in Kuala Lumpur. These two hotels are separate hotels under the Hilton portfolio but they are less than 50m away from each other.
What this means is that you can hop from one hotel to another in two consecutive nights to clock the two stays required to unlock Hilton Honors Gold status with little effort. Room rates at these two hotels are extremely affordable during this sale as you can see below:
Factoring in taxes, the total cost of your two stays could be had for as low as RM300 which translates roughly to S$100 (RM3 = S$1). That’s an excellent price to pay to secure Hilton Honors Gold status for more than a year and you can now enjoy complimentary breakfast as well as room upgrades whenever you stay at Hilton hotels worldwide.
If you do register for the Visa Fast Track to Gold offer now and complete your two stays within the 90 day period, your Hilton Honors Gold status will be valid until 31 March 2020.
(Historically, we have seen Hilton and Visa extending its Fast Track to Gold offer since 2016 and if they do continue the program through to 2019, be sure to time your registration such that your 90 day window will end after 31 March 2019. As completing the challenge after 31 March 2019 will let you keep Hilton Honors Gold status until 2021.) [edited]
If you already have plans for an upcoming staycation or holiday within the Asia Pacific region, you might want to check out this sale from Hilton between now and 3 February 2019. There are some great rates to be had for stays in Singapore even and I will be shopping around for bargain hotel stays as well.
