These must be booked and ticketed by 31 May 2019 (waitlists that clear after this date will be charged the regular rate, regardless of when you added your name to the waitlist), and are for travel between 1-30 June 2019 (both dates inclusive).
Discounts may apply in one direction only e.g. SIN-BKK may be on discount but BKK-SIN may not. Be sure to read the offers carefullyย
Blackout dates apply. If you’re not seeing discounts, this may be why
Remember that the discount will only appear once you’ve clicked on the selected award
37 destinations on offer for June 2019
June 2019 features 37 destinations in total (39 if you include Houston and San Francisco, available as fifth freedom flights; I count Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita as 2 separate destinations), which is pretty average compared to previous months.
Check out 18 months of historical Spontaneous Escapes pricing here!
Here’s the summary of what’s available for SIA and SilkAir in June 2019:
What’s good this month?
For the first time ever, we are seeing fifth freedom flights on Spontaneous Escapes. Both Manchester to Houston and Hong Kong to San Francisco (but not the other way round) are being discounted:

Is this of any value to you in Singapore? Not really- the cost of your positioning flights to Manchester would more than offset whatever savings there were, and Hong Kong is sort of a marginal proposition.

There’s no Bangkok or Hong Kong this month, and amazingly, Beijing and Shanghai do not feature for the first time since December 2017ย and March 2018 respectively.ย Europe also doesn’t feature, although as mentioned during my historical analysis of Spontaneous Escapes routes, that’s the rule rather than the exception.
The good news is that Bali returns after a four month absence, and long haul flights to Dubai and Jo’burg are available. Dubai and Jo’burg are already a sweet spot at the regular price of 49K miles for Business Class, and the discounted price of 34.3K miles is just the icing on the cake.
If you don’t mind heading to Australia and New Zealand during the winter, you can find numerous premium cabin options here too. Because not all Escapes are available both ways, if you’re flying to Melbourne/Sydney you may want to consider flying home from Brisbane to enjoy a discounted rate both ways.
Conclusion
Spontaneous Escapes are a great way of stretching your miles, especially if you’re traveling with your family. Remember to ticket your awards before 31 May!

Hi, there’s a bit of a mistake for the original milage in the graphical representation for JNB, DXB. Just in case you might want to know. Cheers.
Yes, should be 49k. Thanks will fix later
Should be ticket/redeem by 31 May 2019, for travel from 1 to 30 June 2019 inclusive. Correct me if I am wrong.
