Seedly held their first-ever Personal Finance Festival in March last year, where a sell out crowd of 1,200 got a whole day crash course about all things finance- investing, CPF, insurance, retirement planning, cashflow management, all that good stuff.
Well the Seedly Personal Finance Festival is back again for 2020, and this time round, I’ll be giving a talk on the most important investment of them all: MILES
OK fine, miles are probably the worst possible investment. They don’t earn interest, they can only be devalued, and they’re not insured in the event of airline bankruptcy. They’re fun while they last, though- earn and burn, not buy and hold! |
Here’s the details:
Date: 7 March 2020 (Saturday)
Time: 10 a.m – 6 p.m (Registration starts at 9 a.m)
Venue: Suntec City Convention Hall 405 & 406, 1 Raffles Blvd, Singapore 039593
Early bird tickets are now available at $58 per person, and buddy tickets (min 2 pax) at $40 per person. For the next 24 hours (i.e. until 3 January 12 p.m), however, you can get 50% off both types of tickets with the code EARLYSEED50, bringing the price down to as low as $20.
Now fair warning, I’ve a 30-minute slot and the target audience is the general public, so we won’t be talking KVS Tool, fuel dumping (if that still exists), or MS. Think of this as a credit cards 101 course, where we’ll cover:
- the different types of credit card rewards
- how to get the most out of big ticket spending
- what cards to use for different categories of spending, and
- how to craft a card strategy to accelerate your miles accumulation.
Even if you’ve heard it all before, I promise I’ll think up some new jokes, just for the occasion. You’ll also have the chance to hear from a host of talented speakers including the folks from The Woke Salaryman, Timothy Ho from Dollars&Sense, Alvin Chow from Dr Wealth, Adam Wong from The Fifth Person and many more!
Also look out for no fewer than six lucky draws, plenty of workshops and fun games. A full agenda with all the talks and can be found on the landing page.
Conclusion
Mark your calendars for 7 March and be sure to grab the 50% off discount while you still can! I look forward to seeing you guys there- it’s gonna be awesome.
