It’s been positively raining Apple AirPods recently- someone joked that the banks must have run out of free luggage. So far, we’ve seen three AirPods promotions this month:
- Apple AirPod Pros (S$379) for SCB card sign-ups (expired 10 Apr)
- Apple AirPods Pros (S$379) for Citi card sign-ups (expired 19 Apr)
- Apple AirPods (S$239) for DBS card sign-ups (expires 30 Jun)
In the previous SCB campaign, the first 100 approvals from 9 a.m each day received a pair of Apple AirPods Pros, while everyone else received S$200 cash. This wasn’t an ideal arrangement, as the SCB site kept crashing at 9 a.m due to the influx of traffic.
SCB is giving it another go, with a different mechanic. From now till 30 April, all approved new-to-bank customers will receive a pair of Apple AirPods with wireless charging case (S$299).

Your application must be received by 2359 on 30 April, and approved by the end of May to be eligible. You’ll need to activate the card upon receiving it, although there’s no minimum spending requirement.
It’s important to take a screenshot of the application reference number and fill in the SingSaver Rewards Form (sent to your email) promptly, as failing to do so can result in missing out on your gift. Gifts typically take up to 3 months for fulfillment, and the full T&C can be found here.
In addition to the AirPods, SCB is continuing to give S$20 of no-spend cashback upon approval. You’ll receive the cashback within 60 days of activation, and must use SingPass MyInfo when applying.
Conclusion
It’s not the AirPod Pros that were previously on offer, but on the plus side, there’s no cap on the number of eligible customers this time round. The promotion runs till 30 April, so be sure to apply before then.
