From now till 7 December 2020, Hilton is running a “Big Dreams, Big Savings” sale which offers up to 30% off hotels across Australasia and South East Asia.
Hilton Big Dreams Big Savings Sale
If you’re looking to book a staycation at the Conrad Centennial (which reopens in December) or the Hilton Singapore, this is well worth a look…
Hilton Big Dreams Big Savings sale
This sale is valid for all stays booked from 23 November 2020 to 7 December 2020, with stay dates from 26 November 2020 to 30 June 2021. Three days advance reservations are required, and full payment is required at the time of booking.
Reservations are non-refundable, but dates can be changed at least three days prior to arrival.
Conrad Centennial
The Conrad Centennial reopens for staycations from 16 December 2020, and it’s possible to find S$224++ (S$264 nett) rates on the weekdays.
However, if you’re able to wait until early January, you’ll be rewarded with S$203++ (S$239 nett) rates on both weekdays and weekends- a fantastic deal to be sure.
Do note that there are two Big Dreams Big Savings rates- one with and one without breakfast. The difference for the Conrad is S$21++ a night, and while you won’t need this if you’re a Hilton Gold member or higher, it’s worth topping up for everyone else.
Hilton Singapore
I was none too impressed with my stay at the Hilton Singapore last month, but hey, it is cheap. December stays are available from S$203++ (S$239 nett)…
…and if you’re willing to wait till January, it goes even lower to S$171++ (S$201 nett).
Just like the Conrad, the difference between the non-breakfast and breakfast rate is S$21++ per night. I will say that the Hilton breakfast is rather poor quality, so you may wish to take the savings and eat somewhere else instead.
What card should I use for Hilton bookings?
Bookings at the Conrad or Hilton Singapore will code as online local currency hotel transactions (remember, your card will be charged at the time of booking). You can use the following credit cards to maximize your miles.

Conclusion
Some very good rates at the Conrad and Hilton Singapore for those looking at a year-end/year-start staycation, and it’s all the better if you have Hilton Gold/Diamond status.
It’s a pity this didn’t come in time for the AMEX Hilton staycation credit offer, but it’s still a good deal in and of itself.
Will changing dates require top up of price difference? Otherwise I could book the cheapest rates and change the date to another more expensive one.
What do you think?
🤣
hey maybe he finds a pricing bug.. who knows XD
Heya Aaron.. Free Breakfast isn’t an automatic freebie for Hilton Gold.. it’s only given IF you get upgraded to Executive Floor… correct..?
free breakfast IS automatic for hilton gold. lounge access is only if you get upgraded to executive floor. it’s why hilton gold is so valuable…
Free breakfast is only given to Hilton gold when booked DIRECTLY with hilton app/website. Not 3rd party site. Last year I saw a member demanding for it over the counter… Embarrassing…
Happy Camper. You may wish to check in your Hilton app under MyWay hotel benefits whether you selected (a) Bonus 1000 HH points per stay; OR (b) Continental Breakfast. If you are HH Gold and didn’t get free breakfast, that’s the reason.
HI Aaron Thanks for the heads-up on the Hilton and Conrad offers! I just stayed at the Hilton last week in a Family suite..paid around 318++ Room Only. As you mentioned, similar in size to the Exec Suite but w/o Lounge benefits. Didn’t see the need to pay extra for these this time around and had most of my meals at nearby food-courts and cafes etc. Suite has been recently renovated and it feels much larger than the advertised 69m.. due to the rectangular layout (sorry, no pix!) it’s almost 20+ paces walking from the lounge sofa at one end… Read more »
thanks for the report! i think the bathrooms in the suites look pretty good, and it’s a shame the renovations on the rest of the rooms have stalled.
how did you find breakfast
Hi! Nope, didn’t try their bfast this time…think Qs would be pretty long, judging from the daily check-in lines at 230PM onwards…multiple generations of family turning the lobby into some sort of park playground. Better to opt for room service until school reopens, I feel 🙂
