Note: This offer has been extended to all bookings made by 30 April 2021 and stayed by 30 June 2021 |
When I was researching Hong Kong hotels for the ATB, the thing that jumped out at me most was how generous their staycation packages were. There were numerous hotels rebating guests 70, 80, even 90% of the room rate in F&B credits.ย
Why can’t we have something like that in Singapore? I thought to myself. Well, now we do…
Pan Pacific 100% Dining Credits Offer
Pan Pacific has launched a new 100% Dining Credits Offer, which is valid for bookings made fromย 15 December 2020 to 31 March 2021 with stays on weekdays from 1 January to 31 March 2021.ย Weekdays are defined as Monday to Thursday night.ย
The following three properties are participating:
Hotel | Rate |
Pan Pacific Singapore | S$400 nett (Deluxe Room) |
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering | S$400 nett (Urban Room) |
PARKROYAL on Beach Road | S$320 nett (Superior Room) |
Update: PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay has been added at S$400 nett |
The rate is fixed regardless of date (but remember, it’s for weekdays only), and books you into the lead-in room category.ย
Guests will receive an F&B credit equivalent to 100% of the room rate, which can be spent at hotel-operated restaurants and bars, in-room dining and minibar expenses. There’s no back calculation needed to reverse out the service charge or GST- the T&Cs state that the credit amount is inclusiveย of these two.ย

No special code is needed to find these rates; they will appear automatically in search results.ย You may need to click the “see more rates” button at the bottom for the rate to appear.ย
Rates are fully refundable up to 6 p.m two days before arrival. Here’s the full T&Cs for your reference.ย

Is the rate worth it?
The main thing to note is that this rate does not include breakfast, so some adjustments are in order. Breakfast will need to be paid out of your dining credits, and will cost between S$82-113 nett for two adults depending on hotel (protip: don’t bother paying for breakfast at Pan Pacific, I just stayed and the quality is awful- report to follow).ย
๐ณ Breakfast Cost | ||
Hotel | Adult | Child (6-12) |
Pan Pacific Singapore | S$48++ | S$24++ |
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering | S$38++ | S$19+++ |
PARKROYAL on Beach Road | S$35++ | S$17.50++ |
So your nett credits after adjusting for breakfast (assuming two adults) are:
Hotel | Nett F&B Credits |
Pan Pacific Singapore | S$287 |
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering | S$311 |
PARKROYAL on Beach Road | S$238 |
The cheapest breakfast-included rate I can find at these hotels during the promotion period is:
- Pan Pacific Singapore: S$297 nett
- PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering: S$274 nett
- PARKROYAL on Beach Road: S$231 nett
*Above rates already take into account the 10% discount offered to members of the free-to-join Discover program
Here’s your top-up at each property for the F&B credits:
- Pan Pacific Singapore: Top up S$103 for S$287 F&B credits
- PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering: Top up S$126 for S$311 F&B credits
- PARKROYAL on Beach Road: Top up S$89ย for S$238 F&B credits
Do keep in mind that we should also adjust for the 15% discount on F&B that Staycay Breakfast Offer (the breakfast-included rate I’m referencing) bookings enjoy- this isn’t available to those who book the 100% Dining Credits rate, and will further chip away at the value proposition.
On the whole, however, I’d say the math still works out in your favor.ย
Conclusion
It’s great to see a hotel in Singapore finally roll out an offer like this, and even if it’s not as amazing as it first sounds (due to the higher base rate and lack of breakfast), it could still make sense for those who want to dine at the hotel’s restaurants.ย
I’m hoping that other hotels copy this idea- it’d be even more amazing at a chain where elite status gets you free breakfast regardless.ย
Any idea if this rate entitles one to enjoy GHA – Discovery benefits?
yes it’s an official rate and will enjoy all the GHA discovery benefits.
Did you get upgraded in your coming piece about staycation?
Wondering if the 30% off for F&B for GHA black can be applied before the credit or it is not combinable as it is another offer. Then again, we can enjoy other GHA benefits.
Banking on getting the room, 2 levels of upgrade, a local experience, the 30% F&B discount and the dining credits… Makes it an amazing deal ๐
Ah, just read your pan pacific staycation review. Didn’t know the 30% off lasts till end of year and doesn’t apply to every F&B option (e.g. Keyaki teppan set meals and kaiseki). Not as a sweet deal but will keep my reservation for now since I can cancel 48 hours before.
yup, it’s till end of year. but next year you can still get 15% off F&B with pan pac’s staycation package, so need to factor that in somehow.
This is more like a rate to sell food and drinks with a room thrown in than a room booking with food and drinks.
Marina Square is just beside, there are plenty of choices for good food and drinks.
Wondering if we can stay at one hotel and dine at restaurants located at a different hotel.
Restaurants at Pan Pacific not bad. The rest two can just pass already.
Sichuan Dou Hua and Ginger at Parkroyal Beach Road is pretty good. But yes, Lime is passable at best.
SCDH being a Chinese restaurant, $320 should be enough for 4-6 adults. I found Ginger so-so only among the hotel buffet places I’ve been to.
Can we book a stay for 2.. and say 5 pax go eat? Invite more family n friends to eat…
you can have as many people as you want to eat…provided only registered guests enter the room.
Does anyone know if the dining need to be on same day as the stay?
