AMEX Platinum adds four new Chillax partners (also eligible for 10Xcelerator)

One of the highlights of the American Express Platinum credit cards is the Love Dining and Chillax program, which offers up to 50% off the bill at selected restaurants, bars and hotels across Singapore.

American Express recently announced some new Love Dining and Chillax partners for 2021. Now, they’ve added four additional Chillax partners, and interestingly enough, all of them are also participating in the 10Xcelerator program. 

New Chillax Additions

The following bars now participate in Chillax, effective from 15 February till 31 December 2021. Cardholders will enjoy a free welcome drink with any purchase, from the list below.

The usual Chillax T&Cs apply, namely blackout dates on the eve of and on Public Holidays, as well as special occasions like Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. 

To sweeten the deal, all the bars above are part of the 1-Group, which was recently added as a 10Xcelerator partner. This means you can get a free drink plus up to 7.8 mpd on your spending, as shown below:

Conclusion

While the AMEX Platinum cards don’t have the best earn rates out there, I’d take Chillax and Love Dining benefits over 4 mpd any day of the week.

Remember: these benefits are applicable to both principal and supplementary cardholders, and the first two supplementary cards for Platinum members are free.
