American Express has launched a new set of sign-up bonuses for the AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card and AMEX KrisFlyer Ascend, which are valid for applications and approvals between 1 April and 30 June 2021.
While thereโs still bonus miles up for grabs, the main change is that the Acer monitor and B&O earbuds gifts have been replaced with staycations at the Conrad Centennial and Shangri-La Singapore. Spending requirements remain the same as the previous round of bonuses.

The AMEX KrisFlyer Ascendโs annual fee of S$337.05 must be paid, but you receive four lounge vouchers and a free stay at selected Hilton hotels (including the Hilton Singapore and Conrad Centennial) as part of its regular benefits.
What spending is eligible?
The minimum spend can be met with any purchases of eligible goods or services which post to your account within the first 3 months after approval. AMEX has a list of excluded spending categories here, but the key ones to note are:
- GrabPay top-ups
- Insurance
- SPC transactions
- Utilities
For the avoidance of doubt, hospital transactions, donations, and anything else not explicitly stated in the exclusion list will count as eligible spend.
Conclusion
American Express continues to offer some of the best sign-up bonuses on the market (in terms of miles to spending payoff), and for those who didnโt fancy monitors or earbuds, this revised round of sign-up bonuses may be more to your liking.
Donโt forget that your application needs to be approved by 30 June 2021 to enjoy this offer, so donโt leave it too late if youโre interested.

For AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card, in the amex website, it states โReceive a referral bonus of 4,000 KrisFlyer miles when you spend S$2,000 within the first 3 months of Card Membershipโ. The description is slightly different from what you have placed.
It would then be 5k (any spend) + 5k (3k first 3 month) + 4k (milelion) + 3.3k (base) which works to about 17.3k instead of 23.3k.

Iโve gotten the card, and spent over $3000 for Krisflyer card, and only have seen the welcome bonus and earn rate shown in Amex ibanking site.
When to expect those bonus (10k and 5k) to come?
