Free HoteLux membership for DBS/POSB cardholders
From now till 14 July 2023, DBS and POSB cardholders will enjoy a complimentary 3-month HoteLux Elite membership, which will be automatically extended to 12 months after the first completed stay.
To enjoy your free HoteLux elite membership, simply follow the steps below:
- Download the HoteLux app via this link
- Register for an account
- After registration, tap on your name in the top left corner, then “Join HoteLux Elite”. Then tap “Join HoteLux Elite” again at the bottom right

What benefits do HoteLux bookings enjoy?

In other words, you receive all the perks of elite membership, without actually needing to have it. There’s also 3rd/4th/5th night free offers and bonus hotel credits from time to time, depending on the property.
Luxury privilege rates price the same as the hotel’s best flexible rate, and follow the same cancellation policy (typically 24-48 hours before check-in, but this may vary depending on property and season).
For avoidance of doubt, luxury privilege rates are eligible to earn hotel points and elite night credits, where applicable. Be careful, however, because the HoteLux app displays both luxury privileges rates and regular rates- the latter do not enjoy additional benefits or perks.
Luxury privileges rates will be tagged with “HoteLux Price” in the app. A pop-up warning will also appear if you select a rate that does not include HoteLux benefits.
Conclusion
To be clear, you don’t need a HoteLux membership to book luxury privileges rates; there are many agents out there who offer the same service.
However, HoteLux makes the search process a lot more convenient through its app, and you can book and cancel instantly. That alone is reason enough to try it, especially with all the ways to get a free membership.
