New KrisFlyer Experiences: Singapore F1 Grand Prix Sky Suite

Act fast: Redeem KrisFlyer miles for a Sky Suite at the upcoming Singapore F1 Grand Prix, with full catering and hospitality.

Singapore Airlines has launched a new set ofย KrisFlyer Experiences, and it’s quite possibly the most exciting one yet.ย

KrisFlyer members can redeem their miles for tickets to a Sky Suite at the Singapore Grand Prix, fully catered with a free flow of champagne and other libations.ย

Set against a spectacular horizon of speed, sound and lights, expect a multi-sensory experience at the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2022. Witness man and machine go wheel-to-wheel at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the ultimate pursuit of speed from the ultra-exclusive Sky Suites at Turn 2.

Experiences start from 100,000 KrisFlyer miles each, available while stocks last. KrisFlyer UOB credit and debit cardholders will enjoy a 10% rebate on the miles required.ย

โ“ What are KrisFlyer Experiences?

KrisFlyer Experiences launched back in January 2020, allowing members to redeem their KrisFlyer miles for money-can’t-buy experiences. Past experiences have included various online workshops, high-end dining packages, and a KrisFlyer cruise-to-nowhere.

KrisFlyer Experiences can be redeemed for the member or his/her friends and family. They are non-refundable once redeemed.

KrisFlyer members can now redeem their miles for the following Singapore F1 packages:ย

Experience Cost Per Pax Date
Sky Suite: Practice 100,000 miles Friday, 30 Sep
Sky Suite: Qualifying 150,000 miles Saturday, 1 Oct
Sky Suite: Race 300,000 miles Sunday, 2 Oct

All experiences are non-refundable once redeemed, and members can redeem as many of each item as they wish, subject to availability.

Guests will enjoy a specially curated “world-class menu”, and free-flow champagne and drinks. Each evening also features a different line up of entertainment, namely:

  • Friday 30 Sep: Marshmello
  • Saturday 1 Oct: Westlife
  • Sunday 2 Oct: Green Day

10% miles back for KrisFlyer UOB cardholders

KrisFlyer UOB Credit and Debit cardholders will enjoy a 10% rebate on the miles required, subject to a cap of six cardholders per Experience.

Experience Cost Per Pax Cap
Sky Suite: Practice 100,000 miles
(10,000 miles rebate)
6
Sky Suite: Qualifying 150,000 miles
(15,000 miles rebate)
6
Sky Suite: Race 300,000 miles
(30,000 miles rebate)
6

They must use the special booking link for KrisFlyer UOB cardholders (refer to the above table). The full amount of miles will be deducted initially, with the rebate credited by 31 December 2022.

This rebate is only available to principal cardholders of the KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card or KrisFlyer UOB Debit Card, whose card was issued and linked to a Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer account before 8 July 2022.ย

The full T&C of this offer can be found here.

Is it worth it?

The whole point of KrisFlyer Experiences is to redeem “money-can’t-buy” experiences, and this might actually meet that criteria.

While you can of course buy a Sky Suite with cash, all sessions are currently waitlisted. In fact, the CPM is extremely decent, with all packages above the 1.5 cents I value a KrisFlyer mile at.

Package Price CPM
Sky Suite: Practice S$1,605 1.61: Regular
1.78: KrisFlyer UOB
Sky Suite: Qualifying S$2,659 1.77: Regular
1.96: KrisFlyer UOB
Sky Suite: Race S$4,906 1.64: Regular
1.82: KrisFlyer UOB

I’ve personally gone and redeemed a pair of tickets for the qualifying session (and being stupid, didn’t see the 10% rebate for KrisFlyer UOB cardholders until it was too late).ย

Conclusion

KrisFlyer Experiences is offering redemptions for Sky Suites at the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix. These are sure to get snapped up quickly, so make a decision quickly about whether you want to hop on board (and don’t forget to use the correct redemption link, if you’re a KrisFlyer UOB cardholder!)

Will you be heading for the Singapore F1? If so, see you on the 1st of October!

Off topic: Is the Telegram channel still moderated?

I see some psychopath posting hourly updates of random Marriott hotel stays incl. videos of his feet to 15,000 people or the same 2 dudes starting discussions about Japan every. single. day.

What happened to “Get the latest on miles, credit cards, airline and hotel promotions here!”

Second that!
You mean the Burberry shirt and Hermes belt overload? LOL

Very sad that this group is becoming very credit card centric and not miles!
And when it comes with SQ or good deals, there’s another group MM which has got the first hand scoop on SQ happenings.

Look at my Bonvoy Elite room keycard holder (placed on every picture) and show some respect, peasant.

Never redeemed from here before. This is applicable to non-Singaporean residents too right? I’ve already transferred my Maybank Treatspoints and am waiting for the miles to reflect on my KF account. Extremely nerve-wracking since I am sure these are going to be gone super quickly..

Ivan – good luck…It’s quite fast actually sometimes less than 12 hours.

Keep checking KF app/site. Usually the transaction page will reflect the transfer before the final summary page

Matt

Just got mine….

Race Day is still available!

Overrated. The real deal is the paddock club, not this watered down version

Get ready for meals out of cardboard boxes HAHAHAHAHA

Given SQ’s ridiculous cost-cutting these days, that should be the way to go
