From now till 20 December 2022, World of Hyatt is bringing back its Dine Local promotion, which offers 3X points on dine-in, delivery and takeout at participating hotels worldwide.

Registration is not required, and you can enjoy the offer even when you’re not staying at the hotel.
Earn 3X World of Hyatt points for dining
Under the Dine Local promotion, food and beverage charges at participating outlets in Hyatt hotels and resorts will earn 3X the usual points. This only applies if the bill is paid directly at the restaurant; if you charge it to your room, you won’t earn the bonus.

A maximum of 100,000 bonus points can be earned under this promotion, and bonus points will post within 2-3 weeks after payment.

What dining options are available in Singapore?
Both Andaz Singapore and Grand Hyatt Singapore are participating in this promotion. Do note, however, that the latter is closed for four months from 19 September 2022 to facilitate renovations, and is unlikely to reopen in time for this promotion.

Conclusion
If you’re visiting a restaurant in a Hyatt hotel anytime over the next few months, don’t forget to give your server your World of Hyatt number for points accrual. I value Hyatt points at about 1.5 US cents each, so even if you’re a base member you’re earning slightly over a 20% rebate in terms of points.
For those of you staying at the hotel, remember that you should not be charging the bill to your room. You’ll need to pay at the restaurant in order to get your 3X points.
