IHG One Rewards is once again running an offer for award stays worldwide, which allows Diamond and Platinum Elite members to save 15% off the regular award costs.
The last time we saw such an offer was in January 2024, and itโs a great opportunity to save on an upcoming stay- provided you can travel in the next 47 days or so.

Hereโs the key details of IHGโs award night sale:
- No registration is required
- Stays must be booked by 27 April 2024 (Iโm not sure what time zone theyโre referring to here)
- Stays must be completed by 10 June 2024
- No minimum stay is necessary, but the discount is capped at three nights per booking
- No cap on the maximum points you can save
- You can book as many awards as you wish
The 15% discount will be automatically reflected at the time of booking. If youโre not seeing availability, remember that your stay must be completed by 10 June 2024 for the discount to be given.

The discount can also be applied to Points & Cash bookings, and it seems that unlike the last time, both the cash and points component are discounted.
Points and cash bookings can come in useful when you donโt have enough points for an award stay. Youโll be paying roughly 0.56 US cents per point, slightly higher than the price during IHGโs periodic 100% bonus sales (0.5 US cents per point). That said, thereโs no IHG points sale going on now, so if youโre short of points then this is your only option.
Stays booked under this promotion can be changed or refunded, subject to the usual cancellation windows for award stays. In other words, thereโs no harm making a booking now, even if your travel plans havenโt firmed up.
The main catch here is the limited booking and travel window; youโll need to make your bookings by this Saturday, and travel between now and 10 June 2024 to take advantage of the offer.
