Kris+ BFCM promo: Earn bonus 2-3 mpd with Challenger, Harvey Norman, KrisShop and more

Kris+ has announced the details of its upcoming Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) promotion, which starts on 29 November 2024. 

During this promotion, Kris+ users will be able to earn an uncapped 2 mpd at Audio House, Challenger, Harvey Norman, iStudio and Parisilk, as well as an uncapped 3 mpd at KrisShop.

This is stackable with up to 4 mpd with the right credit card, and could be particularly lucrative if you’re planning to buy the latest iPhone or some other pricey electronic gizmo.

Kris+ BFCM double miles promo

From 29 November to 3 December 2024, Kris+ members will earn 2-3 mpd at the following merchants.

The upsized earn rate will be automatically reflected in the Kris+ app, with no registration necessary. There is no minimum spend required, and no cap on the maximum miles that can be earned.

While I’m glad to see this offer, it’s worth pointing out that it’s not nearly as generous as last year’s BFCM promotion, when the earn rate was a flat 3 mpd across all of these merchants.

As always, don’t forget to transfer any KrisPay miles you earn to KrisFlyer within 21 days of the transaction, in their entirety. A big “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button will appear after every transaction. 

If you wait longer than 21 days, or spend any portion of the KrisPay miles earned, the remaining balance will be stuck in Kris+, where they can only be spent at 0.67 cents apiece with a six-month expiry.

Vouchers also on sale

If you’re not ready to finalise your purchases during the promo period but want to “lock in” the miles first, Kris+ will also be selling cash vouchers at discounts to their face value.

• Audio House: 2% off S$100, S$500 and S$1,000 cash vouchers
• Parisilk: 5% off S$100, S$300, S$550 and S$1,000 cash vouchers

Purchases of these vouchers will earn 2 mpd, and you can subsequently make your purchase whenever you’re ready.

In fact, even if you’re already ready to purchase during the promo period, you might as well buy these vouchers as you’ll save an additional 2-5%.

Conclusion

From 29 November to 3 December 2024, Kris+ is offering an extra 2 mpd on a wide range of electronics and home appliance merchants, as well as an extra 3 mpd on KrisShop. 

This isn’t as generous as last year’s promotion, but if you have big ticket items to buy, you might as well see if you can wait till the sale to earn some extra miles. 

You’ll also be able to purchase Audio House and Parisilk vouchers at a slight discount to their face value, enjoying an extra 2-5% discount and locking in the miles for a future purchase.
