Singapore Airlines first introduced amenity kits in Business Class back in 2020, after years of on-again, off-again trials. This was a surprising move given the airline’s historic resistance to the idea, but with many competitors using this as a point of differentiation, it felt increasingly untenable not to follow suit.
The first generation of kits featured amenities from Penhaligon’s Quercus collection, but Singapore Airlines is now giving the kits a major refresh.
As spotted in SilverKris Magazine, Singapore Airlines will be partnering with New York-based Le Labo for its next generation of kits, with the rollout starting on Christmas eve.
Singapore Airlines launches new Le Labo amenity kits

From 24 December 2024, Singapore Airlines Business Class passengers will be receiving Le Labo amenity kits, featuring three products: hand pomade, face mist, and lip balm.Â
Stored in a waxed cotton canvas pouch inspired by Le Labo Fragrances’ iconic lab aprons, the new Business Class amenity kit’s design reflects the perfume brand’s minimalist aesthetic. Over time, the canvas develops unique textures and hues, making each pouch a personal keepsake, and can be used as a travel document holder.
The contents of the amenity kit – Le Labo Fragrances’ hand pomade in Basil, face mist in Basil and lip balm – are formulated with premium vegan ingredients like shea butter, sweet almond oil, olive oil, aloe vera and rosemary extract.

Le Labo, meaning “The Lab” in French, was founded in 2006 by Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi in New York City. The brand emerged as a counterpoint to mass-market perfumery, embracing a philosophy of craftsmanship, authenticity, and sensory connection. Its mission was to create artisanal fragrances with a focus on high-quality, hand-blended ingredients.
The brand’s signature lies in its minimalist aesthetic and unique approach to perfumery. Each scent is named after its core ingredient, followed by the number of other notes in its composition (e.g. Santal 33 and Rose 31). The fragrances are freshly compounded at the point of purchase, allowing customers to experience a personalised and intimate connection with the product. Additionally, the labels are customisable, further emphasizing Le Labo’s bespoke ethos.
As before, you won’t find dental kits, combs, earplugs or sleep masks in these kits. These items are available on request, or can be found within the lavatories. This is part of Singapore Airlines’ approach towards minimising waste.Â
Thanks to The MileLion Community, we now have some photos of these kits in the wild.
Which routes get the kits?
Singapore Airlines offers amenity kits in Business Class on request, on flights above six hours, which means you can expect them to be stocked on the following routes.
|
|
Certain flights to New Delhi and Fukuoka exceed 6 hours and may also receive amenities kits, though it’s not confirmed. |
If your flight is shorter than six hours and you really want a kit nonetheless, you can try your luck by asking the crew- sometimes, there may be extra kits onboard, especially if the aircraft has just come off a rotation from a long-haul flight.Â
What do the current amenity kits contain?

As a reminder, Singapore Airlines’ current Business Class amenities kit offers Penhaligon’s products, including:
- Quercus hand lotion (30ml)
- Quercus facial mist (7ml)
- Quercus lip balm (4g)
- a clear ziplock bagÂ
- a gift card that invites you to visit a Penhaligon’s store for a “fragrance profiling experience”
Sometimes the amenity kit is already waiting at your seat, and other times you’ll need to request for one.
First Class passengers continue to receive amenity kits from Lalique, with male and female kits available out of Singapore, and unisex kits into Singapore.
Premium Economy passengers can request an amenity pouch made in partnership with Out of the Woods, which launched back in April 2024 along with a host of other soft product enhancements. This is available on flights of at least seven hours.

Conclusion
Singapore Airlines Business Class passengers can look forward to new amenities kit from 24 December 2024, with the airline partnering up with New York-based Le Labo.
These kits are available by request, so if you’re on an eligible flight and don’t find it at your seat on arrival, be sure to ask for one (though I suspect they’ll be offering them by default for at least the first few months!).
What do you make of Singapore Airlines’ new Le Labo amenity kits?
No love for BRU
got to add that one in! thanks.
Excited for this! I have been using their perfumes for a few years now, and it’d be great to have this Le Labo branded kit
Yayyyyy I hope that they will have it for my Sydney flight this weekend!
Still looks a poor kit compared to what you get on Emirates.
The right word is bankrupt 🤣🤣
The right word for Emirates is no room for success
Everything looks better from the middle seat in business class
Doubt SQ is too concerned about the thoughts of someone who can only use miles to fly them.
At least the pouch looks better quality than the penhaligons piece of crap
No love for DXB
added too, thanks!
DEL and FUK both pop in at or about 6 hours ðŸ˜
DEL is an interesting case. one flight is blocked > 6 hours, the other <6 hours. don't know how they'll handle that!
Thanks Aaron. They weren’t placed on our seats. Also forgotten to ask for them on our flight out at night on 10 Dec. Will put a note to check for it on our flight home this Saturday.
Just taking off from Fukuoka to Singapore on 24 Dec. Was given the new Le Lebo kits ! Merry Christmas everyone !
thanks for confirming on Fukuoka!
Great collaboration but poor execution. Just like the construction industry in Singapore, good design but the contractors all cannot make it. LOL
Le Labo already has a travel set. I rather they repackage that for Singapore Airlines using SQ colours. Something simple, elegant and reusable is much appreciated.
Now lets hope we get a better collaboration for F class. Enough of Lalique.
$$$$ matters
Agree. But you can make nice things with little money. Cotton is best as long as you do it well. Cathay’s Bamford is another example of a fugly kit. ANA has a basic cotton pouch and its my most reused item. SQ F generic Lalique kit is better than the gender specific ones.
Looks absolutely hideous! Who in SQ makes these terrible decisions? Totally not in line with SQ’s brand image
What a step down from Penhaligons! Not only is Le Labo of poorer quality, the kit itself looks cheap and ugly. Seems like we’re back to the days of constant cost cutting?
Looks pretty cheap to me and worse compared to other airlines
In my dresser I have a little mountain of assorted creams and colognes from over 50 kits across a bunch of airlines that I’ve never once used but feel too guilty to just toss into the trash. OTOH those disposable cabin slippers and fresh socks (that they give out even in economy on some airlines) always instantly go onto my feet, and the tiny travel sized Gillette shaving foam and Colgate toothpaste Emirates gives have been a stable in my dopp kit for almost 10 years now (though that stock is now nearly depleted). Disappointing SQ has somehow managed to… Read more »
