DBS cards offering up to S$100 off Singapore Airlines tickets

On the last Tuesday of every month, DBS cardholders can enjoy S$50 off tickets for up to two passengers, to any Singapore Airlines destination, in any cabin.

Earlier this year, DBS launched a monthly promotion for Singapore Airlines tickets, which offers cardholders up to S$100 off per booking to any destination in its network, in any cabin from Suites to Economy.

It’s a good opportunity to stack a discount with up to 4 mpd with the DBS Woman’s World Card — though the bonus cap of S$1,000 per month makes it somewhat restrictive.

The redemption quota is reset every second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m, so set your alarms for this morning if you plan to take advantage of the offer.

DBS offering up to S$100 off Singapore Airlines tickets

Details

From now until 14 December 2026, DBS cardholders can enjoy up to S$100 off Singapore Airlines bookings with the promo code DBS50OFF.

  • Valid for round-trip commercial tickets departing from Singapore
  • Only for flights operated by Singapore Airlines, excluding codeshares
  • S$50 off per passenger, limited to a maximum of two passengers per booking
  • Valid for all Singapore Airlines destinations
  • While the promo code is applicable to all types of fares, it will be pro-rated for infant and child fares, so you won’t enjoy the full S$50
  • Discount is not applicable to taxes, fees and ancillaries such as insurance, excess baggage and seat selection

To use a promo code, click “Apply Promo Code” on the booking screen and enter the code.

Limited redemptions are available, and the quota will be refreshed on the second Tuesday of every month. Once the quota is refreshed, bookings can be made for one week, or until the quota is exhausted, whichever comes first.

All bookings must be made through the Singapore Airlines website (it won’t work for the mobile app). And before someone asks — no — this promotion is not applicable to award redemptions.

The promo code will only allow up to two passengers per booking, so if you’re planning to book tickets for three passengers or more, you will need to split up your booking.

What card should you use to pay?

Payment for flights booked under this promotion must be charged to a DBS credit or debit card.

If you’re looking to earn miles, here are the options available.

DBS Woman’s World Card

4 mpd Capped at S$1K per calendar month
DBS Vantage Card

1.5 mpd –
DBS Altitude AMEX

The DBS Woman’s World Card offers the highest earn rate at 4 mpd, though it’s capped at just S$1,000 per month. The remaining options are general spending cards that earn just 1.3-1.5 mpd, which is far short of what you could be earning with alternative options.

Therefore, it’s always a good idea to run the sums and ensure the cash savings outweigh the value of any forgone miles.

For example, if you’re a DBS Altitude Cardholder whose alternative is the Maybank Horizon Visa Signature (2.8 mpd, capped at S$10,000 per month), then you’re missing out on 1.5 mpd. Assuming you value a mile at 1.5 cents each, the S$50 savings are worth 3,333 miles, and you’d be better off with the DBS discount if you spend below S$2,222.

SIA discounts with other credit cards

If you miss out on the redemption quota for the DBS promotion, don’t worry. SIA also has tie-ups with other banks and credit cards that you can take advantage of:

  • HSBC cardholders save up to S$120 off SIA flights to any destination except Southeast Asia, on the last Tuesday of the month
  • Citi Prestige cardholders enjoy a monthly discount off SIA flights to any destination. The savings and live date vary from month to month — last month, it was up to S$600 off from 21 July

Conclusion

DBS cardholders can save up to S$100 off Singapore Airlines tickets to any destination in the airline’s network, in any cabin.

A limited number of redemptions are available each month, and the quota refreshes on the second Tuesday. Once the quota refreshes, time is of the essence — so decide beforehand which flights you want to book!
