Citi PremierMiles Card offering 30,000 miles sign-up bonus and S$100 Trip.com gift card

From 1 September to 31 October 2026, get an extra S$100 Trip.com gift card plus 30,000 bonus miles with a new Citi PremierMiles Card.

The Citi PremierMiles Card recently extended its 30,000 miles welcome offer, and has now sweetened the deal even further by adding a S$100 Trip.com gift card for new-to-bank customers approved by 31 October 2026.

The welcome offer is already equivalent to buying miles at just 0.65 cents each, and factoring in the gift card brings the effective cost down even further. What’s more, the minimum spend remains modest at just S$800, and cardholders continue to enjoy two complimentary lounge visits and World Select benefits.

You might remember that Citi ran similar promotions in September 2024 and 2025, so it looks like they’ve decided to make this an annual thing.

Citi PremierMiles Card offering 30,000 bonus miles + S$100 Trip.com gift card

Apply

New-to-bank customers who apply for a Citi PremierMiles Card from 1 September to 31 October 2026 will receive up to 30,000 bonus miles and a S$100 Trip.com gift card.

New-to-Bank Definition

New-to-bank customers are defined as those who:

  • Do not currently hold a principal Citi credit card, and
  • Have not cancelled one in the 12-month period before application

Debit cards, supplementary cards and corporate cards do not count.

Fee Paying Option: Spend S$800, get 30,000 bonus miles

New-to-bank customers who pay the S$196.20 annual fee and spend S$800 within two months of approval will receive a total of 30,960 miles:

  • 960 base miles for spending S$800 @ 1.2 mpd
  • 10,000 bonus miles for paying the S$196.20 annual fee
  • 20,000 bonus miles for meeting the spending requirement

The cost per mile in this scenario will be 0.65 cents each (S$196.20/30,000 bonus miles).

Fee Waiver Option: Spend S$800, get 8,000 bonus miles

New-to-bank customers who choose a first year fee waiver and spend S$800 within two months of approval will receive a total of 8,960 miles:

  • 960 base miles for spending S$800 @ 1.2 mpd
  • 8,000 bonus miles for meeting the spending requirement

Since there’s no annual fee here, the miles are essentially “free”.

In my workings I’ve assumed 960 base miles, based on S$800 spent at the local earn rate of 1.2 mpd. If you spend this in FCY instead, you will earn 2.2 mpd instead, or 1,760 base miles.

Extra S$100 Trip.com gift card

In addition to the bonus miles, new-to-bank customers will also receive a S$100 Trip.com gift card, regardless of whether they choose the fee paying or fee waiver option.

Here are the key things to know about the gift card:

  • Awarded via the Citi Mobile app by 30 April 2027
  • Must be redeemed on the Trip.com app by the end of the third month after Citi uploads the gift card onto the Citi Mobile app. For example, if the gift card number and PIN are uploaded on 15 March 2027, the redemption period will be 15 March to 30 June 2027
  • The gift card will be awarded in a single denomination of S$100
  • Gift card value can be used over multiple bookings if desired

Trip.com gift cards can be used to book flights, hotels, attractions, car rentals and tour packages on Trip.com.

What counts as qualifying spend?

Successful applicants must spend at least S$800 by the end of the second calendar month following approval.

For example, those approved on 20 September 2026 will have until 30 November 2026 to meet the minimum spend. In other words, you actually have 2-3 months to hit the minimum spend, depending on when you apply.

Qualifying spend excludes the following:

❌ Qualifying Spend Exclusions
(i) any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases,
(ii) refunded/disputed/unauthorised/fraudulent retail purchases,
(iii) Quick Cash and other instalment loans,
(iv) Citi PayLite/Citi Flexibill/cash advance/quasi-cash transactions/balance transfers/annual card membership fees/interest/goods and services taxes,
(v) bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds,
(vi) late payment fees,
(vii) any other form of service/ miscellaneous fees,
(viii) Citi PayAll transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi PayAll service fee

Citi has previously clarified that even though transactions such as education, insurance premiums, charitable donations and GrabPay top-ups do not earn base miles, they will still count as qualifying spend for the purposes of welcome offers.

Citi PayAll transactions will also count towards qualifying spend, provided the admin fee is paid.

At the time of writing, Citi PayAll is offering a 0.3% fee rebate to customers who make at least S$6,000 in cumulative bill payments between 1 September and 31 December 2026. This reduces the cost per mile with the Citi PremierMiles Card to 1.92 cents each — though I reckon you’re better off exploring the UOB Payment Facility deal instead, which allows the purchase of unlimited miles at 1.8 cents each.

When will the bonus miles be credited?

If you choose the fee paying option, 10,000 bonus miles will be credited once the annual fee has been paid.

The 8,000 or 20,000 bonus miles will be credited within three months after the qualifying spend has been met.

Conclusion

The Citi PremierMiles Card has given its 30,000 miles welcome offer a further boost with the addition of a S$100 Trip.com gift card, while keeping the minimum spend at just S$800.

The gift card is available regardless of whether you choose to pay the annual fee, so all in all it’s pretty compelling.

Despite its lack of points pooling, I’d consider the Citi PremierMiles Card to be one of the better general spending cards on the market, thanks to its wide range of transfer partners and two free Priority Pass visits.
