World of Hyatt offering 3,000 bonus points for every 3 nights

World of Hyatt has just unveiled its latest global promotion, which is valid for stays between 29 September and 15 December 2026.

Registered members will earn 3,000 bonus points for every three nights stayed, up to a total of 36,000 bonus points. This applies from the very first stay, and award stays are eligible too.

World of Hyatt’s latest global promotion offers 3,000 bonus points for every three nights stayed between 29 September and 15 December 2026 at Hyatt properties worldwide, including Mr & Mrs Smith, the Venetian Resort and Homes & Hideaways.

The nights need not be consecutive, so you would earn 3,000 bonus points after completing one single-night stay and one two-night stay. There’s also no hurdle requirement, unlike the previous Hyatt promotion where the bonus was only awarded from the second stay onwards. 

Members can earn up to 36,000 bonus points during this promotion, which would be achieved by staying 36 nights.

Here are the key details of the promotion:

• Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, and must be done by 15 December 2026
• Stays booked prior to registration are eligible
• Award nights are eligible to earn the bonus
• If a stay straddles 15 December 2026, the nights before the cutoff still count
• While World of Hyatt members can earn points for multiple rooms, only one room will qualify towards this promotion
• Points will post within 2-3 weeks of completing an eligible stay

• You must book your stays directly with Hyatt to be eligible for this offer

I value a World of Hyatt point at 1.5 US cents each, so this is equivalent to earning an incremental rebate of US$15 per night.

As a reminder, these bonus points are awarded on top of the regular base points that World of Hyatt members earn, which range from 5 to 6.5 points per US$1.

If you’re planning to book stays under this promotion, don’t forget that World of Hyatt is running a fast-track offer for employees of selected MNCs, which grants them instant World of Hyatt Explorist status for a 90-day period, bypassing the usual 30 night requirement.

During this period:

• members who stay 10 qualifying nights will retain Explorist status until 29 February 2028
• members who stay 20 qualifying nights will be upgraded to Globalist status until 29 February 2028

Qualifying nights include both points and cash stays, at Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide.

You’ll need to register by 31 December 2026, but the sooner you complete the challenge the better, since the status expiry date is fixed at February 2028 regardless.

Conclusion

World of Hyatt is now offering 3,000 bonus points for every three nights stayed from 29 September to 15 December 2026, which works out to an extra 1,000 bonus points per night.

It’s a modest return, but certainly more generous than what Marriott and Hilton are offering their members.
