Qatar Airways Privilege Deals: Save 25% off selected awards for November and December 2026

Save 25% off selected Qatar Airways awards — and even selected partner airlines — booked by 14 November and travelled by 31 December 2026.

Qatar Airways has launched its latest set of Privilege Deals, which offer Qatar Privilege Club members 25% off award flights to selected destinations in First, Business and Economy Class.

This is similar to KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes, or Flying Blue Promo Rewards — a way for the airline to fill seats that would otherwise have flown empty. However, Privilege Deals cover travel over the next two months, and awards are refundable (versus next-month travel and no refunds for Spontaneous Escapes), which offers greater flexibility.

Singapore isn’t featured this month, but Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are. Since Privilege Deals apply as long as your itinerary starts or ends in a promotional city, a short positioning flight could get you 25% off a Business Class redemption to almost anywhere in the Qatar Airways network.

Another interesting thing I’ve discovered this month is that discounted pricing isn’t just for flights operated by Qatar Airways. It can also be enjoyed on partner carriers like Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc, provided you’re travelling on a route where Qatar Airways has a strategic partnership.

Qatar Airways Privilege Deals for November and December 2026

Details

Qatar Privilege Club is now offering a 25% discount on selected award redemptions.

  • Booking period: 5-14 November 2026
  • Travel period: 5 November to 31 December 2026
  • Eligible carriers: Qatar Airways (and unofficially, partner carriers on selected routes)
  • Eligible cabins: First, Business and Economy

There is no limit to the number of discounted awards a member can book. Fortunately, Qatar Airways has backtracked on its draconian restrictions on adding redemption nominees, with members able to redeem miles for up to 13 individuals via the My List and Family & Friends features.

As a reminder, there are three tiers of pricing for Qatar Airways awards:

  • Off-Peak
  • Peak
  • Flexi (formerly known as Q2 awards)

Privilege Deals apply to both Off-Peak and Peak awards, but not to Flexi, which will still cost double the regular Off-Peak price.

Here’s the list of eligible destinations, and how much one-way Off-Peak awards will cost with a 25% discount.

First & Business Class

🇯🇴 Amman 39,000 29,250
🇱🇧 Beirut 39,000 29,250
🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur 50,000 37,500
🇵🇭 Manila 60,000 45,000
🇮🇩 Jakarta 60,000 45,000

As a reminder, Qatar Airways sells its standard regional Business Class seating as First Class on selected intra-Middle East and North Africa routes (e.g. Jeddah, Amman). However, First Class ground privileges still apply, in particular Al Safwa lounge access.

Economy Class

✈️ Qatar Privilege Deals
(One-way Off-Peak Prices)

(to/from Doha)
Regular Price Discounted Price
🇪🇹 Addis Ababa 13,000 9,750
🇪🇬 Cairo 13,000 9,750
🇱🇧 Beirut 13,000 9,750
🇺🇬 Entebbe 17,500 13,125
🇸🇨 Seychelles 17,500 13,125
🇨🇭 Geneva 21,500 16,125
🇳🇴 Oslo 21,500 16,125

The discounted price will be automatically reflected when you search for a participating routing, along with a life-affirming “Nice choice!” pop-under.

If you’re having difficulty finding availability, try using the award calendar feature (click “See more dates”). This will show you availability for a full month, and highlight dates with Privilege Deals availability.

In case you were worried, these discounted awards enjoy the same privileges as a regular award booking. If you redeem a discounted Business Class award, for example, you’re still eligible for lounge access in Doha and other airports, 40kg of checked baggage allowance, as well as priority check-in and boarding.

While Qatar Airways does sell Business Lite fares which don’t include lounge access or advance seat selection, this scourge hasn’t affected award redemptions — yet!

Discount applies to entire itinerary

Even if you’re not interested in travelling to any of the cities featured in this month’s offer, you might still want to pay attention.

As spotted by Head for Points, so long as your itinerary starts or ends in one of the promotional cities, the 25% savings apply to the entire journey, even if your starting point or final destination isn’t part of the promotion.

At first I thought it might be a pricing bug, but Qatar Airways has now codified it in the T&Cs:

Privilege Deals are offered on an Origin & Destination (O&D) basis. Where a destination is featured as part of a Privilege Deals promotion, members may redeem eligible award flights between any Qatar Airways destination and the featured destination, in either direction, subject to availability.‌

-Qatar Airways

And because Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are promotional destinations this month — in Business Class no less — this creates the possibility of flying to practically anywhere in the Qatar Airways network in Business Class for a 25% discount, provided Privilege Deals seats are available.

For example, Cairo is not one of the promotional destinations this month for Business Class, but Kuala Lumpur is. Therefore, I could book a Kuala Lumpur-Doha-Cairo ticket and enjoy 25% off the itinerary, paying 48,750 Avios instead of the regular 65,000 Avios.

The same logic works in reverse. I could fly from a non-promotion destination like Casablanca, and book a Casablanca-Doha-Kuala Lumpur ticket for 56,250 Avios, instead of the regular 75,000 Avios.

Basically, think of the rule like this: A > Doha > B. So long as A or B is one of the promotional cities, the entire A > Doha > B itinerary is discounted by 25%!

You may have noticed that the deals above include travel on Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc. How can that be, when the T&Cs say this?

Only flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways qualify as Privilege Deals. Flights operated by oneworld® or partner airlines are not eligible. Availability is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

Well, as it turns out, you can also redeem Privilege Deals on partner airlines, as long as the route is one where Qatar Airways has a strategic partnership (such as Malaysia Airlines on KUL-DOH or Royal Air Maroc on CMN-DOH).

There might be other partner airlines which I haven’t discovered yet, so if you see something, do give a shout.

Qatar Airways award segment fees

While Qatar Airways does not apply fuel surcharges to redemptions on its own metal, it does have annoying “award segment fees”, which is basically another way to skin a cat.

One-way Economy Business
Singapore to Europe US$90
US$180
Singapore to USA US$125 US$250

While this fee is described as “non-refundable”, I can confirm that in practice, it’s still refunded should you cancel your booking.

Awards can be changed or cancelled

Al Mourjan Garden Lounge, Doha Airport

What’s great about this promotion is that discounted awards are still subject to the same change and cancellation rules as regular awards.

  • More than 24 hours before departure: US$25 change or cancellation fee
  • 3-24 hours before departure: US$100 change or cancellation fee
  • <3 hours before departure: Changes or cancellations are not allowed

Change and cancellation fees are waived for Qatar Privilege Club Platinum and Gold tier members.

How can I earn Qatar Privilege Club Avios?

If you need additional Avios to take advantage of this promotion, you can transfer points from Citi, HeyMax and HSBC. Alternatively, you can buy Avios from Finnair Plus, where the price under the current sale starts at 1.39 SG cents per Avios.

Transfers from Citi

10,000 Citi Miles 10,000 Avios
25,000 TY Points 10,000 Avios

Citi Miles and ThankYou points can be converted into Qatar Avios at a 1:1 (Citi Miles) or 5:2 (ThankYou points) ratio, with a minimum conversion of 10,000 Avios.

Transfers usually take 2-3 working days to be processed, and a S$27.25 admin fee applies.

Transfers from HeyMax

1,000 Max Miles 1,000 Avios

HeyMax restored direct points transfers to Qatar Privilege Club in July 2025.

Max Miles can be converted into Qatar Avios at a 1:1 ratio, with a minimum conversion of 1,000 Avios. However, conversions can be in intervals of just 1 Avios after the first block of 1,000.

Transfers are completed instantly, and no fees apply.

Transfers from HSBC

35,000 HSBC Points 10,000 Avios

HSBC Points can be converted into Qatar Avios at a 3.5:1 ratio, with a minimum conversion of 10,000 Avios.

However, you should not be doing this.

Instead, it’s better to transfer HSBC Points to British Airways Club at a 2.5:1 ratio, and then transfer them to Qatar at a 1:1 ratio. This is possible because both are part of the Avios “currency union”, where Avios can be moved between participating programmes at parity, without any fees.

Regardless of whether you transfer HSBC Points to Qatar Privilege Club or British Airways Club, transfers will be processed instantly, and are free of charge.

Conclusion

Singapore isn’t featured in this month’s Privilege Deals, but don’t let that put you off. Having Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta on the Business Class list means a short positioning flight could knock 25% off a redemption to almost anywhere Qatar Airways flies. There’s also the surprise discovery that partner flights on Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc (and possibly others?) price at the discounted rate too.

I realise that most people won’t be comfortable with the idea of transiting through Doha in the current climate, but these discounted awards follow the same change and cancellation rules as regular ones, so you’ll only be on the hook for a US$25 cancellation fee if you ultimately decide not to travel.
