Radisson Hotels EMEA sale: up to 30% off

Book by 23 April, stay between 29 June 2018 and 26 August 2018.

The Radisson group of hotels is currently running a sale where nights in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) are going for up to 30% off. The last day to book your stays in this sale is 23 April 2018 and your stays must be between 29 June 2018 and 26 August 2018.

Under this sale, you’ll receive up to 25% off the Best Available Rate at participating hotels when you book directly through an official channel. By being a Radisson Rewards member (previously known as Club Carlson), you’ll enjoy an additional 5% off the nightly rates. Joining Radisson Rewards is free so there’s no reason not to sign up for it to enjoy the additional 5% off.

You can read the full terms and conditions of the promotion here, but the main point in the terms and conditions which I found to be the most important one is that rates are subject to availability. So if you have a particular stay in mind at a participating Radisson group property, it’s best to make your booking quickly.

Better footprint in certain regions

Radisson hotels has quite a large footprint in the EMEA region and some of their hotels are very conveniently located in the city centre. For example, the Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh and Radisson Collection Hotel Royal Mile is located very close to The Royal Mile thus making it more convenient should you want to explore more of the Old Town of Edinburgh. The Radisson Blu Reykjavik , Radisson Blu Oslo and the Radisson Blu Helsingborg is also not a bad choice if you’re heading to Reykjavik, Oslo or Helsingborg over the summer period.

Checking the price of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel located in Leicester Square in London, rates during a random weekend in the sale period came up to a GBP211 compared to a price of GBP258 for their Best Available Rate. Do note that the sale rates are non-refundable and non-changeable.

If you’re looking for something closer to Buckingham Palace or the Houses of Parliament when visiting London, the Park Plaza Wesminster Bridge is also a property to check out. Compared to the Marriott County Hall which is located less than 5 minutes away, you’ll be able to save close to GBP30 if you choose to stay at the Park Plaza than the Marriott.

Radisson Rewards Status Match Possible

If you’re looking into booking a Radisson property and currently hold on to statuses from Marriott, Starwood or any other chain actually, you could try requesting for a status match with Radisson Rewards via email. If you’re successfully matched to Radisson Rewards Platinum, you’ll get to enjoy complimentary breakfast but do note this is only for yourself and does not apply to other persons in the booking. I managed to get myself into Club Carlson Gold (before the rebrand) with my Hilton Honors Gold status.

Concluding Thoughts

If you’re heading to the EMEA region within the dates of this promotion, why not give the Radisson hotel group a look. They’re not too shabby in their offerings and sometimes their prices are more competitive than other chain hotels in the area and located more centrally.
