To see these special deals, you’ll need to enter the code SPECIAL4TWOย in the coupon code field when you make a booking, as seen below. The code is case-sensitive, so remember to enter it in all caps. These deals will only be valid for bookings with 2, 4, 6 or 8 people traveling together.
I was able to get the promo fares to display successfully on the MH site. Do note that when you select 2 passengers in your booking, the fares that appear are shown forย 2ย passengers. So don’t freak out if the fare that’s quoted seems higher than you expect.
As you can see in the booking below, my return trip fares for 2 people to NRT in business class is S$2,202 (or S$1,101 per person, for some reason slightly below the S$1,105 promo fare quoted. I’m not complaining).
The good news is that all these destinations are either served by MH’s A330, A350 or A380, all of which will have a full flat product in Business Class.
Malaysia Airlines has just opened a new flagship lounge in KUL, which you’ll be able to visit on your transit through KUL on the inbound and outbound legs.
Conclusion
If you don’t mind making an additional stop in KUL, these fare deals can be pretty good value. To put things in perspective, premium economy on Singapore Airlines to SYD could cost up to S$1.9K, so business class at S$1.9K with one stop doesn’t seem that bad.
