Hilton runs its hugely-popular up to 50% off sale for properties in Japan, Korea, and Guam from time to time, and now they’re back with yet another flash sale, this time including Hong Kong.
Betweenย now and 29 November 2019 1.00 pm Singapore Time, you canย get up to 50% off room rates when you book direct with Hilton for your stays at hotels in Japan, Korea, Guam. Your stays have to be between now and 30 June 2020 and blackout periods may apply at select properties.
Up to 50% off the Best Available Rate (BAR)
In this sale, you will be able to enjoy 40% off the Flexible Rate or Bed & Breakfast rate and Hilton Honors members will enjoy an additional 10% off those rates. Signing up for a Hilton Honors membership is free and you can evenย jump straight into Hilton Honorโs Silver statusย which gets you a 20% bonus on your Hilton Honors points earnings.
Most properties in Japan, South Korea, Guam are participating in this sale. For Hong Kong, the Conrad Hong Kong is participating in this sale. You can probably guess why they have included Hong Kong as part of this sale this time around, but given the travel advisories from MFA personally I’m staying away from Hong Kong for leisure travels until the situation stabilizes.
For those who are looking at hotels in Tokyo, you can check out a detailed review from Louis of the Conrad Tokyo. My review of the Hilton Tokyo will be coming up shortly so stay tuned for that too!
Stack with Amex Hilton offer to get cashback on your bookings
Amex currently has a targeted offer for their cardholders where you can get back S$75 for every S$300 spent when booking Hilton hotels. In this promotion, you can get back S$75 for every S$300 spent at participating Hilton branded hotels. The payment has to be charged to your card byย 31 January 2020 in order to trigger the credit.
Most hotels in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong are participating in this promotion which makes it an excellent deal for those who have been targeted for this promotion.
Which cards should I use to book?
If you’ve got the Hilton AMEX offer, this would be a great time to use it.
Otherwise,ย the UOB PRVI Miles would be a good choice given that it earns 4.4 mpdย (capped at S$3,000) for accommodation bookings made from until 31 December 2019. Alterantively, you can consider using the OCBC 90N, which offers an uncapped 4 mpd on all foreign currency spending from now till 29 February 2020.
For other cards which give bonuses on foreign currency spending, be sure to refer to the “what card” guide.
As always, thanks for the heads-up, Milelion (Matthew)!
I managed to snag rooms at at average of ยฅ20,000 per night before taxes, and before stacking Amex $75 back on $300.. which makes it $240 nett all-inclusive, which is a steal, in Hilton Tokyo, in January! ๐ฅฐ
Congrats! That’s a pretty good deal imo
so good until my England went down the toilet! ๐
