Capitol Kempinski Christmas Flash Sale: Rooms from S$282 nett with breakfast (no min. stay required)

Capitol Kempinski's latest sale offers breakfast-included rooms from S$282 nett for stays throughout January 2021.

Capitol Kempinski has just launched a Christmas Flash Sale, which is arguably even better than the 12.12 deal we saw earlier this month. Under this promotion, rooms with breakfast start at S$282 nett per night, with no minimum night requirement.

You’ll need to make your bookings today (23 December) however, because the discount gets smaller the closer we get to Christmas (how festive).

The Christmas Flash Sale runs from 23-25 December 2020, with a 50% discount on 23 December, 40% discount on 24 December and 30% discount on 25 December. Needless to say, you’ll want to make your bookings today.

This is valid for stays from 2-31 January 2021, and comes with the following inclusions:

  • Daily breakfast for two
  • A take-home souvenir gift (one gift per room per stay)
  • Free parking

Here’s the lowest pricing I found for each category:

  Size Nightly Rate
Classic Room 32 sqm S$240++
(S$282 nett)
Deluxe Room 45 sqm S$265++
(S$312 nett)
Heritage Room 45 sqm S$290++
(S$341 nett)
Grand Deluxe Room 50 sqm S$315++
(S$371 nett)
Terrace Room 45 sqm S$340++
(S$400 nett)
Executive Suite 55 sqm S$415++
(S$488 nett)
Stamford Suite 58-61 sqm S$515++
(S$606 nett)

These prices are identical to what we saw under the 12.12 sale, but there’s no minimum night requirement this time round. Provided you were planning to stay in January 2021, it’s an altogether better deal.

The Christmas Flash Sale rate should automatically appear when you search through this page. Do note that all bookings are non-refundable, so be sure to verify your plans before pulling the trigger.

GHA Black benefits will apply to these bookings, although do note that lounge access is only available to those who book a Stamford Suite or higher category (i.e not those who get upgraded).

Kempinski’s saltwater swimming pool and gym have reopened

For the longest time, the Capitol Kempinski’s saltwater pool was undergoing refurbishments. Guests who wanted to swim were redirected to a penthouse at the neighboring Eden Residences, which isn’t so much a pool as it is an outdoor jacuzzi. It’s definitely not the kind of place you’d want to share with strangers.

The good news is that Kempinski’s outdoor saltwater pool has reopened. It’s not the largest of pools, but it certainly offers a much nicer environment than an unfurnished penthouse.

Similarly, the hotel’s gym is now operating once more, a marked improvement over the previous temporary facility.

Facility reservations can be made with the front office upon arrival, or 48-hours before arriving via guestservices.singapore@kempinski.com

Conclusion

While the rate is the same as what we saw under the 12.12 sale, the absence of the two-night minimum stay makes this a superior offer, provided you don’t mind staying in January.

As a reminder, this sale must be booked directly with the hotel, so you can’t use your S$100 SingapoRediscovers vouchers here.

Their December service was terrible

Hi, could you share more details? I had a staycation there early Dec and overall, service and F & B was very satisfactory.

Dan

is there a difference between daily breakfast, which is inclusive, vs buffet breakfast, which was shown as an add-on during the checkout?
