Hilton Honors has opened registration for its next global promotion, called Points Unlimited. This runs from 1 January to 2 May 2021, and offers 2,000 bonus points with every stay, and 5,000 bonus points after every five nights.
Hilton’s Points Unlimited promotion
Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, so take a minute to do so now. Once registered, members will earn bonus points for eligible stays between 1 January and 2 May 2021 as follows:
- 2,000 bonus points per stay (regardless of length)
- 5,000 bonus points after every five nights (nights need not be consecutive)
This is on top of whatever base points you normally earn.
1 Hilton point is worth roughly 0.5 US cents, so it works out to a rebate of US$10 per stay and US$15 after every five nights. Since this offer is tied to nights/stays (rather than the rate paid), you get maximum value the cheaper your rate is- too bad the Hilton Garden Inn Serangoon is closed to staycations for the foreseeable future.
There is no cap on the maximum bonus points you can earn during this period. Award stays will count towards this promotion, and bonus points should be posted within 6-8 weeks after the stay is completed.
The promotion’s FAQs can be found here.
As a reminder, Hilton is offering double points and double elite nights on all stays until 31 December 2020, so this new offer is comparatively underwhelming. That said, it’s still free points for no additional effort, so you should still register nonetheless.
All Hilton elite nights earned in 2020 will roll over to 2021, so you’ll get a head start on requalification for 2021 too. Keep in mind that all bookings must be made directly with Hilton; you won’t earn any points/elite nights if you book via Klook/Trip.com etc. This means you will not be able to use your SingapoRediscovers Vouchers if you want to participate in Hilton’s promotion.
