World of Hyattโs current Bonus Journeys promotion is set to end on 28 February 2021, and what a generous promotion it was. Registered members could earn 3X points from the very first stay, with no minimum stay required.
The good news is that Hyattโs lined up another Bonus Journeys promotion which starts the day after the previous one ends, i.e 1 March 2021.
The not-so-good news is itโs not quite as generous as before, although that probably shouldnโt be surprising.
New World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion
From 1 March to 15 June 2021, registered World of Hyatt members will earn:
- 2.000 bonus points every two qualifying nights
- A free award night (Category 1-4) after 10 qualifying nights
The two qualifying nights need not be consecutive; a running tally will be kept and points awarded accordingly (for the avoidance of doubt, award nights will count towards this promotion). There is no cap on the number of bonus points you can earn, and bonus points will post between 2-3 weeks after an eligible stay.
Registration is now open, and must be done by 15 May 2021. This promotion is valid for stays at all Hyatt properties, participating MGM resorts, selected SLH locations, and Lindblad Expedition experiences. Any stays booked prior to registration will still qualify, provided you register prior to check-out of your first stay.
The free night is certainly a unique draw, but keep in mind there isnโt any Hyatt property in Singapore in Category 1-4 (the link shows The Outpost Hotel, but that information is out of date; The Outpost and Barracks Hotel were dropped from the Hyatt-SLH partnership in December 2020).
However, there are some attractive ones in the region, including:

- Grand Hyatt Melbourne
- Grand Hyatt Taipei
- Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong
- Park Hyatt Jakarta (not yet open)
- The Sukhothai Bangkok

Other World of Hyatt promotions ending soon
As I mentioned at the start, weโll soon be saying goodbye to 3X points from the previous Bonus Journeys promotion. However, 28 February also marks the end of some other great deals:
- 15% rebate on award nights
- 3X points on dining
- Double elite qualifying nights for 2021
What isnโt changing is that World of Hyatt has reduced its elite status requirements by 50% for 2021, so you can earn Globalist with just 30 nights instead of the usual 60.

Conclusion
It only takes a minute to register for Hyattโs promotion, so do it now, just in case.
The opportunities for using Hyatt points in Singapore for staycations arenโt great at the moment, thanks to the relatively high award prices and relatively low staycation rates. However, Hyatt points are among the most valuable hotel currencies, so itโs always great to pick up more where you can.
