S$300 cash or Apple AirPods Pro with Standard Chartered credit cards

Till 16 May, new-to-bank customers who apply for a Standard Chartered card will get S$300 cash or Apple AirPods Pro with min. spend of S$300.

From 19 April to 16 May 2021, all new-to-bank customers approved for selected Standard Chartered credit cards will receive either a pair of Apple AirPods Pro (worth S$379) or S$300 cash.

Existing cardholders will receive S$30 cash.

❓ New-to-bank customers are defined as those who do not currently hold a principal Standard Chartered credit card, and have not done so in the 12 months prior.

Your application must be received by 2359 on 16 May 2021 and approved by 30 May 2021 to be eligible. The full T&C can be found here

Once your application is submitted, take a screenshot of the Application Reference Number  (for Standard Chartered, it’s in the format SGYYYYMMDDxxxxxx) and use it to fill in the SingSaver rewards form that will be sent to your email. It’s vital you fill in the form– no form, no reward. 

You’ll be able to indicate your choice of gift in the rewards form if applicable.

What counts towards the minimum spend?

The physical card must be activated and a minimum qualifying spend of S$300 made within the first 30 days of approval (or 16 June 2021, whichever comes first).

“Qualifying spend” refers to any retail transaction, except the following:

  • any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases,
  • refunded/ disputed/ unauthorised/ fraudulent retail purchases,
  • Quick Cash and other instalment loans,
  • bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds,
  • late payment fees
  • any other form of service/ miscellaneous fees
  • 6051 (Non-Financial Institutions – Foreign Currency, Non-Fiat Currency (for example: Cryptocurrency), Money Orders (Not Money Transfer), Account Funding (not Stored Value Load), Travelers Cheques, and Debt Repayment)
  • 6211 (Security Brokers/Dealers)
  • 4829 (Money Transfer) and 6513 (Real Estate Agents and Managers)
  • 8211 (Elementary and Secondary Schools)
  • 8220 (Colleges, Universities, Professional Schools, and Junior Colleges)

When will I get my gift?

All gifts will be fulfilled within 4 months of approval. You will not receive your gift immediately upon meeting the minimum spend- the reason for the delay is the need to confirm eligibility with the bank. Please take note of this timeline before applying, and only apply if you’re willing to wait.
