Trip.com’s latest weekend staycation sale has gone live, and runs till end of day on 3 August 2021.

Highlights this time round include 1-for-1 nights at Fullerton Bay Hotel, two nights at Carlton for S$300 and budget-friendly staycation deals at Hotel G, lyf and Hotel Soloha. All packages can be paid for with SRV, and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Fullerton Bay Hotel

Trip.com is offering two nights in a Bay View room with breakfast at S$1,189 nett, valid for stays up till 29 December 2021.
This is marginally cheaper than booking the same package on the Fullerton Bay Hotel’s website, where it costs S$1,200. Don’t forget that you can further stack bank promo codes on Trip.com and use any SRVs you have left.
One night in this category with breakfast usually costs upwards of S$700-800 nett, so you’re saving about 30% by booking two nights.
Carlton Hotel

Trip.com is selling two nights in a Carlton Hotel Deluxe Room for S$300 nett, for stays up till 31 December 2021.
Deluxe Rooms measure in at 30 sqm, with Sealy Posturepedic mattresses and Herman Miller chairs. However, do note that they don’t come with bathtubs- you’ll need to upgrade to the Premier Room category for that.
lyf

For those who need nothing more than four walls and a bed, lyf offers precisely that in a central location at Funan. Lead-in rooms are a cozy 18 sqm, but you’ll still have your own private bathroom and workspace.
Trip.com is offering rooms at S$99 nett, with a S$50 surcharge on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as 6-9 August, 4-6 November, 24-26 and 31 December 2021. It’s roughly about $5-10 cheaper than booking through the official website.
Hotel G

Another budget-friendly option can be found at Hotel G, with 2 nights in a Good Room (the lead-in category) plus breakfast going for S$178 nett. This is valid for stays from 30 July to 30 December 2021, with blackout dates from 24-26 December 2021.
Matthew reviewed Hotel G in December, and the consensus is that if you don’t mind the tiny rooms, it’s a good option for a quick getaway for those who like exploring the Bugis/Haji Lane areas.
Hotel Soloha

Trip.com is selling 1 night at the Hotel Soloha for S$115 nett, with standard perks like 10% off F&B at the in-house noodle bar and all day happy hour. This is valid for stays up till 31 December 2021.
I was reasonably impressed by my Hotel Soloha stay back in August 2020. Of course the rooms are small, but the style is unique and the fittings high quality. It’s a shining example of how a S$100-ish staycation doesn’t need to be seedy or dumpy.
Conclusion
All deals are available for booking till 3 August 2021, so take a quick look through and see if anything catches your fancy. Do note that certain packages may have limited availability each day, so you’ll need to play around with the dates if you don’t see the rate appearing at first.
