CardUp has launched a limited-time promo code for National Day, which offers customers a flat S$56 off any payment made on the platform. It’s an easy way to earn some free miles, provided you act quickly.

The first 56 customers to enter the promo code CARDUPSG56 will enjoy a flat S$56 off any Cardup payment. You’ll be able to see if the promo code is still valid before making your payment.
As far as I can see, there’s no minimum spend required. With CardUp’s regular fee of 2.6%, you’re able to earn free miles on a payment of up to S$2,154.
The best earn rate you could get with a credit card via CardUp would be 1.6 mpd, which means you could earn roughly 3,400 miles for absolutely nothing.
CardUp’s other National Day offer
CardUp customers can also use the promo code SGBIRTHDAY2021 to enjoy a discounted fee of 1.85% on a one-off payment, or the first payment of a recurring series.
This offer is valid for payments made with a Singapore-issued Visa or Mastercard that are set up by 31 August 2021, with a due date on or before 3 September 2021. There is no minimum or maximum payment limit.
The promo code can be redeemed twice per user, and is limited to the first 300 users. You’ll be able to see if the code is still valid before confirming your payment.

With a 1.85% fee, the cost per mile is as low as 1.14 cent each. It all boils down to your value of a mile, but I’d say that’s a very good price to pay, even right now.
