Accor has launched a Winter Sale for hotels across Europe, offering savings of 25% and up to 3X rewards points for members of Accor Live Limitless (ALL).

These rates are fully refundable up to three days before arrival, which should provide some reassurance should the VTL throw up more unexpected surprises.

Accor’s Winter Sale offers a 25% discount on the best flexible rate with or without breakfast. ALL members will also earn bonus points as follows:
- Stay 2 nights: 2X points
- Stay 3 nights or more: 3X points
Bonus points will be credited within 10 days of check-out.
This sale is valid for reservations of at least two nights (except for selected hotels near airports, where one night can be booked), booked by 23 November 2021 with stays till 6 March 2022. No prepayment is required, and all bookings can be cancelled for free up to three days before arrival.
Don’t forget that you can pay for these rates with your ALL points at a rate of 2,000 points= €40.

What card should I use for Accor bookings?
Bookings are not prepaid, so you’ll only be charged at the time of check-out. This basically means you should use whichever card you’d normally swipe for offline foreign currency spend.

If you hold an Amaze Card, go ahead and use it to save on FCY fees, but be careful about pairing it with the Citi Rewards- hotel expenditure is ineligible for 4 mpd under the T&Cs.

Those heading to Europe might want to check out the rates offered under this sale, seeing as how they’re fully refundable up to three days before arrival.

Do you know if this applies for bookings already made or should I cancel and rebook?
Not all hotels are included in this sale, so I discovered. I’ve 3 booked earlier and in the end found that only one is included in this offer. I secured a reservation at that better rate, and cancelled the original one for that one hotel.
Since earlier the year when I started my year-end bookings, Accor’s reservations have been all cancellable freely up to 3 days before check in, some even 24 hours before. So this winter sale is not that much special IMHO.
