UOB has kicked off 2022 with a new bonus miles offer for UOB PRVI Miles Mastercard members. Registered cardholders can earn up to 4.4 mpd on local online and mobile contactless spending on:
- Computers & electronics
- Department stores
- Apparel
- Home furnishings
- Online marketplaces
A minimum spend of S$1,000 and an overall cap of S$4,000 applies for the entire promotion, which means you can earn up to 12,000 additional bonus miles.
If you hold a UOB PRVI Miles Visa, UOB is already running a 4.4 mpd promotion on local online shopping for apparel, computers, electronics, home furnishings, office supplies and more, valid till 31 January 2022. There is no ongoing offer for the UOB PRVI Miles AMEX, sadly.

Earn 4.4 mpd with the UOB PRVI Miles Mastercard
From 17 January to 30 April 2022, UOB PRVI Miles Mastercard members can earn 4.4 mpd on eligible online and mobile contactless spending (see below) made with their registered card.
Registration can be done by sending the following SMS to 77862:

There is no cap on the number of cardholders who can register. Once registered, cardholders who spend at least S$1,000 on eligible online and mobile contactless spending during the entire promotional period will earn up to 4.4 mpd as follows:

The maximum bonus you can earn is capped at UNI$6,000, or S$4,000 of eligible spending during the entire promotion period. Supplementary cardholders are eligible to participate in this promotion, but their spending will count towards the cap of the principal cardholder.
Eligible transactions must be made in Singapore dollars via online or mobile contactless payment at any of the following MCCs:

- Apparel: Adidas, Benjamin Barker, Dockers, Superdry, Forever21
- Computer/Electronics: Aftershock, Apple, Audio House, Best Denki, Courts, Dell, Harvey Norman, Lenovo
- Department Stores: BHG, Daiso, Isetan, Marks and Spencer, Metro, Takashimaya
- Home Furnishings: Castlery, Forty-Two
- Online Marketplaces: ShopeePay
Qoo10 (MCC 5699), Lazada (MCC 5311) and Shopee (MCC 5311) will all qualify as well.
For avoidance of doubt, tapping the physical card at the merchant’s terminal will not be eligible for the bonus. You must digitise your card and use a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Fitbit Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay to qualify. Alternatively, you can pay online via a payment gateway in Singapore.
Base UNI$ will be posted along with the transaction as per normal, and bonus UNI$ will be credited to your account by 31 July 2022.

A 4.4 mpd earn rate would make the UOB PRVI Miles Mastercard the best card to use for online shopping (offline too, provided mobile contactless payments are used), beating the 4 mpd of the DBS Woman’s World Card and Citi Rewards Card.
While a S$1,000 minimum spend is required, you have more than three months to hit this threshold. Fully utilise this offer, and you’ll receive 12,000 bonus miles for S$4,000 of spend- quite a tidy sum for what’s supposedly a general spending card.
Registration only takes a couple of seconds, so better to get it done sooner rather than later.
