From now till 30 December 2022, IHG One rewards is offering members up to 20% off F&B at participating IHG hotels across Southeast Asia and South Korea. Members will also earn 250 IHG points per US$25 spent.
Points can be earned regardless of whether the member is staying at the hotel, a departure from IHG’s usual policy.
IHG Savor Save Earn Promotion
Under IHG’s Savor Save Earn promotion, all IHG One Rewards members will receive 20% off F&B at participating hotel restaurants. The discount is the same regardless of membership tier.
Discounts are available for either dine-in (maximum party of eight) or takeaway, and exclude:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Meals included within a room rate
- Seasonal menus
- In-room dining
- Banquets, group and events bookings
- In-room minibar

IHG One Rewards members will also earn 250 bonus points per minimum spend of US$25, before taxes . This works out to about S$35 based on current exchange rates, and remember: points are awarded in blocks. If you spend the equivalent of US$49, you’ll still earn 250 points.
1 IHG point is worth roughly 0.5 US cents, so assuming you spend US$25 on the dot you’re getting a 5% rebate.
Stacking with AMEX offers
American Express is currently offering statement credits with IHG and other hotel chains, valid for use up till 30 June 2022 (registration required).
These are stackable with IHG’s member dining promotion, since all that matters is the nett spend charged to the card.

To illustrate, a cardholder who spends S$350 on dining would pay S$329.56 (S$350 -20% IHG discount + 10% service charge & 7% GST), which would trigger the S$75 statement credit for a net outlay of S$254.56.
It’s not necessary that the entire S$300 minimum spend be made in a single transaction. The following hotels and restaurants are participating (but note that the list is not a perfect overlap with the outlets participating in IHG’s member dining promotion).

Which other chains are offering member discounts?
Apart from IHG, the following chains are also offering dining discounts to members of their loyalty programmes:
- Hilton: Save up to 25% off F&B and 500 bonus points until 30 June 2022
- Marriott: Save up to 20% off F&B until 30 June 2022
It costs nothing to join either programme, so there’s no reason not to do so.
