KrisShop on Kris+ launched back in December 2021, and we saw frequent promotions throughout 2022 designed to encourage adoption. Until August 2022, it was possible to earn a bonus 7.5 mpd when shopping KrisShop on Kris+. This was then cut to 4.5 mpd until December 2022.
KrisShop on Kris+ has now extended the offer until 31 March 2023, but bad news: it’s been cut even further to 1.5 mpd. In the cold light of day, you’ll still be earning up to 9.5 mpd after stacking bonus miles from KrisShopper and credit cards, though it’s obviously worse than before.
Earn 1.5 mpd from KrisShop on Kris+

From 1 January to 31 March 2023, KrisShop on Kris+ will award a flat bonus of 1.5 mpd for all transactions. Miles will be earned on the pre-tax, pre-shipping amount.
To access KrisShop on Kris+, look for the icon at the top of the Kris+ app. You’ll be redirected to the KrisShop page within the app.

Checkouts on Kris+ must be done via in-app payments, using American Express, Mastercard or Visa cards linked to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Don’t forget to transfer any miles earned on Kris+ to your KrisFlyer account immediately. If you wait more than seven days, these miles will be stuck inside Kris+, where they expire after six months, and can only be spent at a puny 0.67 cents each!

Joining Krisshopper should be a no-brainer, since even the entry-level, no-spend-required KrisShopper Member tier earns more miles (2 mpd) than a non-KrisShopper customer (1.5 mpd).
The earn rate for KrisShopper members will increase as they move up the ranks, maxing out at 4 mpd for Ambassadors.

Do note the distinction between KrisShop.com and KrisShop on Kris+ for the Citi Rewards Card and AMEX KrisFlyer cards.
While the Citi Rewards Card will earn 4 mpd on KrisShop.com, it will only earn 0.4 mpd on KrisShop on Kris+. That’s because checkouts on Kris+ must be done via in-app payments, using a card linked to Apple Pay or Google Pay. This is excluded from the Citi Reward Card’s 4 mpd bonus (I’ve heard that pairing it with Amaze solves the problem though, but don’t quote me on that).
Likewise, KrisShop.com transactions earn 2 mpd on the AMEX KrisFlyer Ascend and AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card, but only the regular 1.2/1.1 mpd via Kris+. This has something to do with how the transactions are coded, since payment processing via Kris+ is different from KrisShop.
There is no such distinction for the rest of the cards.
Earn 7.5 to 9.5 mpd on KrisShop
So putting it all together, a KrisShopper member would earn anywhere from 7.5 to 9.5 mpd for KrisShop purchases, as summarised below.

Conclusion
KrisShop on Kris+ has cut its bonus earn rate by two thirds, with customers earning 1.5 mpd until 31 March 2023. That can be stacked with up to 8 mpd from KrisShopper membership and credit cards, so you’re still looking at 7.5 to 9.5 mpd overall.
Just note that KrisShop prices may be inflated compared to shopping elsewhere, so be sure to comparison shop and make sure the bonus miles justify the price difference (if any).

For KF UOB CC, Kris+ transactions are treated in a similar manner to Singapore Airlines, Scoot and KrisShop transactions (in the sense that there’s no minimum spend, cap, or delayed crediting), it does not count towards the minimum spend required to unlock Accelerated Miles.
Any idea how about Krisshop via Kris+.
There are always incentive to shop KrisShop via Kris+ but it likely wont count towards the minimum spend required to unlock Accelerated Miles?
Or if the reference is “KrisPay*KrisShopOnline Singapore” it will be considered as KrisShop? Any data point on the above?

Just a quick note: seems Icon’s free shipping benefit is not available for purchases via Kris+
KrisShop only sells overpriced products or junk. Perhaps if you wanted to buy an Apple product, it made sense since that is standard price. In the past, I would still buy wine from it.. pay a bit more for the miles. At this kind of earn rate, might as well buy wine from Bottles&Bottles via Kris+ (6+4mpd)…. Bye bye, KrisShop!
