SingSaver has launched a new set of welcome offers for Standard Chartered credit cards, which run from now till 1 October 2023.
New-to-bank applicants can enjoy up to S$380 cash, or gadget gifts such as Dyson Supersonic hair dryers or Nintendo Switch OLED consoles. Thereโs also an extra S$20 cash for making a S$20 transaction with Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, Netflix and other selected merchants, and on top of it all, SingSaver is also giving away 20 Dyson Airwraps each day to the first 10 applicants at 12 p.m and 3 p.m daily.

All cards have a minimum income requirement of S$30,000 per year.
Applications must be received by 1 October 2023, and cards must be approved by 15 October 2023. Cardholders must activate their physical card in order to be eligible; activating the digital card alone is insufficient.

- Complete your application and take a screenshot of the Application Reference Number (for StanChart, this is in the format SGYYYYMMDDxxxxxx)
- Fill in the SingSaver rewards form that will be sent to your email. Itโs vital you fill in the form. No form, no reward.
Qualifying spend
A minimum qualifying spend must be met for each card, as summarised below:
- SC Simply Cash Card: S$500 by 1 November 2023
- SC Smart/Rewards+ Card: S$250 by 1 November 2023
- SC Journey Card: No minimum spend required
Qualifying spend includes all online and offline retail transactions, whether in SGD or foreign currency. It explicitly excludes transactions such as:
- Charitable donations
- Educational institutions
- Insurance premiums
- Payments to government bodies
- Prepaid account top-ups (e.g. GrabPay, YouTrip)

Gift fulfilment
All gifts will be fulfilled within three months after SingSaver receives the bankโs report confirming the eligibility of applicants.

Get an extra S$20 cash
All new Standard Chartered cardholders who meet the respective minimum spend and charge at least S$20 with Shopee, Lazada, Taobao, ezbuy, Qoo10, Carousell or Netflix within 30 days of approval will receive an extra S$20 cash (disbursed by PayNow).
This isnโt a particularly difficult task to fulfil; you could even buy a Qoo10 gift card and be done with it.
Conclusion
If you donโt have a Standard Chartered card yet, hereโs an opportunity to pick up some guaranteed additional gifts when you sign-up, plus a shot at a Dyson Airwrap each day till 1 October 2023.

If you have difficulty meeting the minimum spend, my standard approach is to just buy NTUC or Cold Storage vouchers- things that Iโll end up spending sooner or later.

Just completed the application for Journey card via the Singsaver link and just realised I did not have a choice between annual fee applied or annual fee waived, as is the case through the direct link to sc websiteโฆ
singsaver has 2 different links, one for fee waiver and one for fee paying. the one in the main table is the fee waiver option. if you look at the footnote, there is an option for fee paying (which I donโt think is that good a deal)
