GHA DISCOVERY has launched a new promotion, which offers up to a D$150 bonus for members who register and complete four stays by 30 June 2025.
Each stay must be a minimum of two nights, and you’ll only start earning bonus D$ from the second stay onwards. That’s somewhat restrictive, but it might be attractive to those planning stays at low-cost properties around Southeast Asia.
This offer is basically a rehash of the one we saw the same time last year.

GHA DISCOVERY members can now register to earn up to a D$150 bonus for stays booked and completed between 1 January to 30 June 2025 (ongoing stays that end after 30 June 2025 will not be eligible).
- 1st stay: No bonus
- 2nd stay: D$25 bonus
- 3rd stay: D$50 bonus
- 4th stay: D$75 bonus
Each stay must be a minimum of two nights to qualify for this offer. Bookings must be made via the GHA DISCOVERY app/website or the hotel’s official website.
Registration must be done by 31 March 2025. Bookings made prior to registration will not be eligible for this offer, so you may want to consider cancelling your existing reservation and rebooking, assuming it’s refundable and the rates haven’t increased.
GHA Discovery members will continue to earn their usual D$ on top of this, based on their membership tier.

To participate in the Promotion, members must register for the Promotion and complete a qualified eligible booking within the promotional period (1 January 2025 – 31 March 2025) prior to their stay and complete more than one and up to four eligible stays of two sequential nights or more during the promotional stay period (1 January 2025 – 30 June 2025). The eligible stays must be completed and the member must be checked out on or before 30 June 2025 for the stays to be considered towards the Promotion. Ongoing stays with a checkout date after 30 June 2025 will not be considered towards the Promotion and consequently will not receive the Promotional D$ for that stay under the Promotion. Members who have registered for the Promotion and complete a qualified eligible booking within the above mentioned promotional period will receive D$25 after a second eligible stay within the promotional stay period, D$50 after a third eligible stay within the promotional stay period and D$75 after a fourth eligible stay within the promotional stay period. No additional promotional D$ will be awarded for any further eligible stay within the promotional stay period. Bookings and eligible stays made prior to the Registration will not be considered as qualified eligible stays towards the Promotion, even if they are in the promotional stay period. Bookings made prior to 1 January 2025, will also not be considered towards the Promotion. Consecutive stays with the same check-in date as the last check-out date at the same property will not receive the Promotional D$. A qualified eligible stay under the Promotion must be a stay that is not at an *Ineligible Rate (defined below) and which has a minimum length of two nights. Bookings that include multiple rooms will be counted and considered as a single stay and rewarded as if they were a single room booking. The Promotional D$ issued under the Promotion are awarded in addition to the Base D$ that are issued to the member as a result of completing the eligible stay. The Promotional D$ are subject to a limited expiry term of six (6) months from the date of issuance and are therefore excluded from the Base D$ expiration rules. Any Base D$ earned on a memberโs stay will be subject to expiration based on standard tier-based expiration rules. “Ineligible Rates” shall include, without limitation: (1) third-party online retail rates, such as stays booked through Expedia.com, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz.com, Priceline, Travelocity.com, etc. (โOTAsโ) (2) tours series rates and charter rates (3) room rates for airline staff and crew where rooms are pre-booked and paid for by the airline or directly; (4) travel-industry staff rates; (5) employee rates, employee family or employee friends discount rates; (6) other discounted rates; (7) any complimentary, free, traded or bartered night stays, or any stays in connection with gift certificates or other awards or vouchers. First stays on Ineligible Rates may receive DISCOVERY Dollars, but these stays will not count towards tier qualification nor will they be counted as stays for the purposes of the Promotion; subsequent stays on an Ineligible Rate will not receive D$ nor will they count towards tier qualification nor will they be counted as stays for the purposes of the Promotion. This offer is subject to change or withdrawal without notice, cannot be transferred or exchanged for other forms of compensation, cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion unless explicitly stated and is subject to availability. D$ are not redeemable for cash. |

GHA DISCOVERY is running a concurrent offer that awards a bonus D$5 for all bookings made through the GHA DISCOVERY app (Android | iOS).
A few points to note:
- Registration not required
- Stays must be booked between 1 January to 31 March 2025
- Check-out date must be from 1 January to 31 March 2025
- No minimum spend or minimum stay length required
- No cap on the maximum times this offer can be used
Note in particular the restriction on check-out date; you will need to check-out by 31 March 2025 to receive the bonus D$. If your check-out date falls from 1 April 2025 onwards, you will not earn any bonus D$ notwithstanding the fact your check-in date was within the promo period.
As always, any D$ earned through promotions expires six months from the date of issuance, as opposed to the usual D$ expiry.

D$1= US$1 at GHA properties worldwide, and can be earned or redeemed on the following expenses:

Only stays booked through the GHA website or official hotel websites/channels will be eligible to earn D$.
A few pointers about redeeming D$:
- A minimum of D$10 must be spent in a single transaction
- At the moment, D$ can only be used to pay online with hotels under Lore Group, Paramount Hotels, Sun International, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, and The Set Collection (Hotel Cafe Royal, Lutetia and Conservatorium only)
- For all other brands D$ can be used during a stay, at the front desk of a hotel. You cannot spend them on F&B or spa treatments when not an in-house guest
- It is possible to use D$ on prepaid stays however, insofar as the hotel doesn’t actually charge your card at the time of booking (you’d be surprised, many “prepaid stays” aren’t actually charged until check-in). My advice would be to contact the hotel beforehand, let them know you want to book a prepaid rate with D$, and ask them how to proceed

Conclusion
GHA DISCOVERY members can now register and earn up to a bonus of D$150 when they complete four stays by 30 June 2025.
While it’s unfortunate your first stay isn’t bonused, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stays will earn D$25, D$50 and D$75 respectively. What’s more, you can stack the promo with a separate offer that gives D$5 per app booking, as well as any other promos that GHA happens to be running at the time.
