June offer: Get up to $100 GrabFood vouchers for OCBC credit card sign ups

SingSaver has extended their OCBC credit card sign up offer for a further month- get up to $100 GrabFood vouchers on approval.

For the month of June, new-to-bank customers who apply for OCBC credit cards through SingSaver will get S$100 GrabFood vouchers upon approval.

Existing customers will get S$50 GrabFood vouchers, but they’ll need to be among the first 1,000 to spend S$300 by the end of the month following card approval.

โš ๏ธ New-to-bank customers are defined as those who do not currently hold an OCBC principal credit card, and have not done so in the past 12 months prior to application date. Gifts are fulfilled by OCBC, not SingSaver.

Get 10X points on online and offline shopping with the OCBC Titanium Rewards

The OCBC Titanium Rewards is an extremely useful card for miles chasers, thanks to its bonuses on online and offline shopping.

More specifically, you’ll earn 10X points (or 4 mpd) on the following purchases, both locally and overseas:

  • MCC 5611: Menโ€™s and Boysโ€™ Clothing and Accessories Stores
  • MCC 5621: Womenโ€™s Ready to Wear Stores
  • MCC 5631: Womenโ€™s Accessory and Specialty Stores
  • MCC 5641: Childrenโ€™s and Infantsโ€™ Wear Stores
  • MCC 5651: Family Clothing Stores
  • MCC 5661: Shoe Stores
  • MCC 5691: Menโ€™s and Womenโ€™s Clothing Stores
  • MCC 5045: Computers, Peripherals, and Software
  • MCC 5732: Electronics Stores
  • MCC 5699: Miscellaneous Apparel and Accessory Shops
  • MCC 5311: Department Stores

In addition to this, you will also earn 10X points at the following e-commerce merchants:

  • Alibaba
  • AliExpress
  • Amazon
  • Courts
  • Daigou
  • Ezbuy
  • IKEA
  • Lazada
  • Qoo10
  • Shopee
  • Taobao

Remember that only 1X OCBC$ will be credited upon the transaction posting. The remaining 9X OCBC$ will be credited by the end of the following month.

OCBC maintains an active presence on the HWZ forums, answering questions about MCCs and eligibility for 10X. If you have any specific questions about merchants, do drop them a note over there.

10X points are capped at S$12,000 of spending per membership year. However, you can double your cap by getting both the Blue and Pink versions of the card.

โš ๏ธ Changes since 1 June 2020
Since 1 June 2020, the OCBC Titanium Rewards has been awarding points in blocks of S$5, instead of the current S$1. This means you’ll need to spend at least S$5 to earn points, and will lose some points due to rounding on any transaction that is not in multiples of S$5.

Conclusion

This offer is basically the same as last month’s, and seems to be the new BAU offer for OCBC cards on SingSaver.

OCBC has recently run some very enticing offers for the Titanium Rewards card, the most recent of which was the 8 mpd offer for Lazada, Deliveroo, NTUC and other online merchants. I’m hopeful we’ll see a few more as people continue to stay home in Phase 1 of the post-Circuit Breaker period.
