Accor Live Limitless offering up to 6,000 bonus points (worth โ‚ฌ120) for three stays- staycations included

Register and make three stays of at least two nights each to earn 6,000 bonus ALL points. Book by 9 October, stay by 15 December 2020.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) doesn’t hold quarterly promotions the way Hilton, Marriott and other hotel chains do, but they’ve come up with a potentially interesting offer that might be useful to some.ย

From 1 September to 15 December 2020, ALL members can earn up to 6,000 bonus points when they make three stays of at least two nights each. 2,000 ALL points is equal to โ‚ฌ40, so that’s a maximum of โ‚ฌ120 in bonus points- not a bad haul.

Accor’s 6,000 bonus points promotion

ALL members will first need to register via this link, and book three stays of at least two nights each by 9 October 2020.ย Stays can be anywhere from 1 September to 15 December 2020.

They will then earn up to 6,000 bonus points, split as follows:

  • 500 points after the first stay (equivalent to โ‚ฌ10)
  • 2,500 points after the second stay (equivalent to โ‚ฌ50)ย
  • 3,000 points after the third stay (equivalent to โ‚ฌ60)

Bonus points will be credited to your account within 10 days of check-out, and only bookings made after registration are eligible for this bonus offer. Note that any stay partly or entirely paid with ALL points will not be eligible to receive this offer.

Obviously, the minimum two night per stay requirement isn’t ideal- most staycations are one night, after all. However, if you happen to be clearing leave, or booking one of those staycation packages with a minimum two night stay, there’s no harm registering.ย

A word of warning to those of you who booked the Suite Life package at The Raffles Hotel. Although this package includes two nights, it only triggers a one night credit on the back end. That may be because Raffles codes the second night as a free, points-ineligible night.ย

Reclaim expired ALL points

On 20 May 2020, Accor paused the expiry of ALL points until 15 December 2020. However, this arguably came way too late, given how most business and leisure travel had ceased for months before that.ย

ALL is now offering members the chance to earn back points which expired between 1 January and 18 May 2020. Members who register and complete at least a single two-night stay before 15 December 2020 will have their points reinstated.ย

This does feel kind of insulting, however. Those points should never have been allowed to expire in the first place (especially from March onwards, when COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic), and ALL now wants you to jump through hoops on account of their failure to do something earlier.ย

Which Accor hotels are approved for staycations?

The following Accor hotels are now approved to take staycation guests:

  • Fairmont Singapore
  • Raffles Hotel
  • Sofitel Singapore City Centre
  • Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

Fragrance Hotels now operate the ibis Budget brand, but they do not participate in the ALL program.ย

Conclusion

The two-night minimum means this promotion may not be that useful, but if you have even one qualifying stay, it’s a bonus โ‚ฌ10 for a few seconds of registration effort.ย

Members who have lost their ALL points during the COVID-19 pandemic also have the chance to earn them back, but this mechanism just rubs me wrong. There was really no reason to wait till end-May to announce a COVID-19 policy, and it’s another reason why ALL will never be seen in the same league as a Hilton Honors or World of Hyatt.ย

Thanks Aaron! Not sure if a back to back 2 day + 2 day stay will be counted as 2 stays?

We have had extremely bad experiences with ALL, inconsistent waiver and refund policy and really bad communication, especially for properties in Europe. unlike Hilton, they do not have a consistent policy for refunds and waiver in times of pandemic. Although it caught everyone by surprise, chains like Hilton have put in place a set of policy to help customers, not ALL. One property in Europe can say ok, the other may say no. Its the same with Lifemiles. If anything, this Covid situation had taught us how to properly evaluate which alternate FFP and hotel loyalty to go for.

I agree that Accor is not the most consistent hotel group around. Different property, running by different owner on different region provide different service and policy. They are even less consistent comparing to Radisson which I also a Plat. However, generally Accor asian properties are much better than EU or US, I so far rarely have real bad encounters, I have more pleasant ones in fact plus given their vast choices of property from cheap to luxury. For me as long as I am still able to maintain my Accor Platinum clocking all the nights from biz trip, I think… Read more »
