Trip.com has launched a Weekend Super Sale that runs from now till 11.59 p.m on Monday 5 April 2021. If you still haven’t used your SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (just 3 months left to do so), this is as good a time as any.

Trip.com Weekend Super Sale
The pick of the deals would be the Hilton Singapore, where nights start at just S$100 nett. Do note that this particular offer needs to be booked by end of day on 4 April (unlike the rest of these deals, which are available till 5 April), and your stay must be from 3 April to 30 June 2021.
The S$100 nett rate does not include breakfast; if you want to add it on at the time of booking, it’s roughly ~S$20 nett per head.
I’ll be frank though- based on my stay during October last year, breakfast isn’t worth paying for. The selection is small and the food bland. Save your money and eat at a nearby cafe; you’ll probably be much happier.
Trip.com is also featuring “1-for-1 deals” at selected hotels in the Pan Pacific Group:
- PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering: S$393 nett for 2 nights
- PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay: S$396 nett for 2 nights
- PARKROYAL on Beach Road: S$301 nett for 2 nights
- Pan Pacific Singapore: S$414 nett for 2 nights
- Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road: S$414 nett for 2 nights
I’m confused why they call it 1-for-1, because these rates are actually the same as the ones that the Pan Pacific Group is offering during its current flash sale (for bookings made by 4 April and stays up to 30 June)- the main difference is you can use your SRV and promo codes via Trip.com. Remember- the 2 night minimum stay only applies during weekends.
Other deals worth looking at include the Shangri-La Singapore from S$252 nett, Mandarin Orchard from S$157 nett and InterContinental Singapore from S$236 nett.

Don’t forget that DBS cardholders can use the code DBSHTL15 to take S$15 off a min. hotel spend of S$100. This is capped at the first 1,000 redemptions per month (the promo code doesn’t seem to be working for me, so it’s either the website glitching or we’ve hit 1,000 really early).
Conclusion
I don’t think the Hilton Singapore is a fantastic place to stay, but it’s hard to argue with a S$100 nett rate. You of course won’t earn any hotel points or enjoy elite benefits if you book through Trip.com, but if you want to spend your SRV then you don’t have a choice. For the sake of comparison, the cheapest rate i can find on the official website is S$169 nett.
Remember to make your bookings by 5 April 2021 (4 April 2021 for the Hilton).
