Citi Prestige offering fantastic staycation deals at Fullerton & Shangri-La

Citibank has rolled out another set of staycation offers exclusively for its Citi Prestige members, and like the previous ones we’ve seen, there’s some fantastic deals up for grabs.

Each principal cardholder is entitled to book a maximum of two room nights per property during the campaign period. The principal cardholder must be one of the staying guests, which means you can’t book these rates for other people.

All bookings must be made by 15 May 2021, with stays completed by 30 September 2021 (Fullerton, Fullerton Bay, Shangri-La Sentosa) or 19 November 2021 (Shangri-La Singapore).

Fullerton Hotel & Fullerton Bay Hotel

Citi Prestige cardholders can choose from the following rooms at the Fullerton Hotel:

If you’re staying at the Fullerton, I’d personally recommend springing for a Quay Room, because the views are spectacular at night.

Regardless of which hotel you choose, all bookings receive free breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children (aged below 10 years), plus S$100 F&B credits to spend at The Courtyard, Jade or La Brasserie. You can redeem the F&B credit at the Fullerton Bay Hotel, even if you’re staying at the Fullerton Hotel (and vice versa).

Look, I don’t need to tell you that S$220 nett for the Valley Wing is a sensational offer. Even though there have been numerous sales in recent memory, nothing has come close to this price. 

Guests will receive full Valley Wing benefits, which include:

• Breakfast in the Summit Room (one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Singapore)
• Free flow wine and champagne served from 11 a.m to 10 p.m
• Afternoon tea
• Evening canapes and cocktails

As if that wasn’t enough, they’re throwing in a S$50 F&B credit. You can’t lose.

I’m not totally convinced by the look of this property (it was last renovated in 2011, and it says a lot that IDD calling and iPod docks are proudly mentioned as room amenities), but the Citi Prestige rates are certainly much cheaper than what you’d otherwise pay. I’ve done a short write-up about the hotel and what you can expect in terms of facilities here. 

Conclusion

All these are fantastic deals, and well below what you’d normally pay. I imagine Citibank is partially subsidizing these rates, so it’s good to see they’re helping cardholders recover some of their S$535 annual fee.

Dates are likely to disappear fast, so get booking. Remember, all stays can be refunded up to two days before arrival.
