New Standard Chartered sign-up offer: Free LUMOS projector and Disney+ subscription

From now till 20 September 2021, get a free LUMOS Ray projector and Disney+ subscription with a new Standard Chartered credit card.

Standard Chartered has launched a new offer for cardholders applying via SingSaver, and it’s an intriguing one for movie buffs.

From now till 20 September 2021, all new-to-bank customers approved for selected Standard Chartered credit cards will receive a LUMOS Ray Smart projector or S$250 cash, as well as a 3-month Disney+ subscription.

  2. You will be directed to a SingSaver landing page. Enter your email address and click “confirm”
  3. Complete your application and take a screenshot of the Application Reference Number (for Standard Chartered, it’s in the format SGYYYYMMDDxxxxxx)
  4. Fill in the SingSaver rewards form that will be sent to your email. It’s vital you fill in the form– no form, no reward.

You’ll be able to indicate your choice of gift in the rewards form if applicable.

Qualifying Spend

The physical card must be activated and a minimum qualifying spend of S$300 made within the first 30 days of approval (or 8 October 2021, whichever comes first).

In a newly-added requirement, qualifying spend must include at least one transaction (of any amount) at any of the following merchants:

  • HBO Go
  • iQiyi SG
  • Lazada

It’s an interesting new rule, though not that difficult to meet. The T&Cs further note that you must add your new credit card as the card on-file with one of the above merchants- basically saving it to your account for future payments.

Qualifying spend also excludes the following:

  • any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases,
  • refunded/ disputed/ unauthorised/ fraudulent retail purchases,
  • Quick Cash and other instalment loans,
  • bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds,
  • late payment fees

Gift Fulfillment

All gifts will be fulfilled within 4 months of approval. You will not receive your gift immediately upon meeting the minimum spend- the reason for the delay is the need to confirm eligibility with the bank. Please take note of this timeline before applying, and only apply if you’re willing to wait.

For those who want to track the fulfillment of their reward, SingSaver provides estimated fulfillment timelines for Citibank and Standard Chartered cards on its website.

Any enquiries about gift fulfillment should be sent to [email protected]
