HSBC has announced its latest set of WOW Weekend staycation deals, which run from 15-17 July 2022. Bookings go live at midnight tonight (i.e. 12 a.m on Friday 15 July), with special deals for the first 50 or 100 bookings at each hotel.
Participating properties this time round include the Goodwood Park Hotel, PARKROYAL Beach Road, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay and Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore.
In addition to this, there’s also a flat 25% off Agoda bookings and S$50 off a minimum spend of S$500 on Cathay Pacific.
HSBC WOW Weekend Sale |
All bookings must be made with a HSBC credit card, and I’d highly recommend using the HSBC Revolution to earn 4 mpd, capped at the first S$1,000 per calendar month.
If you don’t have a HSBC Revolution yet, you can enjoy the following gifts with a minimum spend of S$500 by the end of the month after approval.

Goodwood Park Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$358++ (S$421 nett) or S$398++ (S$468 nett) for a weekday/weekend stay in a Junior Suite, with breakfast for two, a three-course dinner at Gordon Grill, 1-for-1 spa treatment and 15% off F&B.
If you’re outside the first 50, the rate increases by S$90++ to S$448++ (S$527 nett) or S$488++ (S$574 nett) for a weekday/weekend stay, with the same inclusions.
Goodwood Park’s last appearance on HSBC WOW Weekend was in April, where a Poolside Suite (one category below the Junior Suite) with a S$100 F&B credit and breakfast started from S$355++. The current deal gives you a slightly larger room, although it doesn’t have the same flexibility of a dining credit.

Hotel review
Despite the Goodwood Park Hotel’s vintage, rooms in the Lobby Wing (where the Junior Suites reside) are refreshingly modern, having just completed a renovation in February 2021. I stayed in a renovated Deluxe Premier room in August 2021, and didn’t have any complaints about wear and tear.
Outside the rooms, however, you may find the place a little worse for wear. The pool and gym are decidedly dated and reminiscent of a mid 90s condominium, while the rest of the hotel can come off as “Raffles-lite”.

PR Marina Bay Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$430 nett for a COLLECTION Club Room, which comes with daily breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails for two guests.
If you’re outside the first 50, the rate increases to S$480 nett, with the same inclusions.
Weekday stays for Club Rooms are upwards of S$500 nett for the dates I checked, so there’s some savings to be had here if you’re in the first 50.

Hotel review
Matthew stayed in a regular room at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay in June 2021, and I did a separate suite review during National Day that year.
Aesthetically speaking, it’s one of the most gorgeous hotels I’ve ever laid eyes on. The Urban Suite was tastefully decorated, with more than enough space to host a viewing party (just a shame they didn’t show the same kind of love to the bathrooms, which received minimal attention during the renovation).
Breakfast was surprisingly good (after my stay at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering I didn’t have very high expectations), and if you’re a GHA member, this can count towards one of the three (yes, three) brands you need to stay in to qualify/requalify for Titanium status.

PR Beach Road Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$270 nett for a PARKROYAL Club Deluxe Room, which comes with breakfast and evening cocktails for two (but not afternoon tea, for those who enjoy that sort of thing).
If you’re outside the first 50, the rate increases to S$320 nett, with the same inclusions. Parking is included for all guests, and other club benefits include two pieces of laundry per day, and 20% off all business centre services.

Hotel review
Matthew reviewed the PARKROYAL Beach Road back in May 2021, noting that although the renovated lobby and rooms were a stark improvement from before, the club lounge offerings were disappointing.

Ritz-Carlton Review |
The first 100 bookings will pay S$425++ (S$500 nett) for a Deluxe Kallang Room with breakfast for two guests. Alternatively, they can opt to pay S$599++ (S$705 nett) for a Club Kallang Room, which comes with full club lounge privileges:
- Five culinary presentations daily (breakfast, mid-day snacks, afternoon tea, evening canapes, desserts)
- Complimentary limo drop-off within the vicinity
- All-day champagne
For the sake of comparison, the previous WOW Weekend sale had a Club Kallang Room going for S$650++ (S$765 nett), so the price has been lowered this time round. It’s still not the cheapest we’ve ever seen a club room, but with borders reopened and demand up again, is probably as good as it gets for now.
Do note that the Ritz-Carlton Millenia does not participate in Marriott Bonvoy, so you won’t be able to earn any points or elite night credits for your stay.

I’ve yet to visit the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, but Matthew has and files this report:

HSBC WOW Weekend deals go live at midnight tonight (i.e. the morning of 15 July), and all except the Goodwood Park will require you to stay up late and play fastest fingers first.
Since Goodwood Park must be booked via email, it’s a simple matter of composing an email with your name, number of guests and stay dates, and scheduling it to fire at the stroke of midnight.
Good hunting!
My daughter and I have still got the verrucas that were gifted to us courtesy of the Ritz-Carlton during our 2 week quarantine stay there. My recommendation is to not lift up the rug, unless you want to see months or years of accumulated dirt.
Great views, though.
Don’t see how any of these are great deals. With travel opened up I don’t see why anyone would jump on these
None of these are great deals. 430 nett for PRMB is laughable. At least try harder and offer Fnb credits, come on.
