Accor Plus has announced a new perk called Status Accelerator, which awards all members 20 bonus status nights in the Accor Live Limitless (ALL) programme every year.
Accor Plus |
What’s more, if you were an Accor Plus member as of 31 July 2023, you’ll enjoy an additional one-time bonus of 20 status nights, which could potentially make you an ALL Gold if your membership renewal takes place by 31 December 2023.
The Status Accelerator benefit applies regardless of whether you bought an Accor Plus membership, or received it as a benefit via a credit card.
Accor Plus membership now awards status nights
Here’s how Status Accelerator will be implemented.
Any Accor Plus member who held a valid membership as of 31 July 2023 has been awarded a one-time bonus of 20 status nights.
From 1 August 2023, all Accor Plus members will receive a bonus of 20 status nights when they join or renew their Accor Plus membership, as a recurring benefit. These will be reflected within a month of the joining or renewal date.
As a reminder, here’s how many status nights are required to qualify for ALL elite status:
Status | Status Nights | Status Points |
Silver | 10 | 2,000 (โฌ800 spend) |
Gold | 30 | 7,000 (โฌ2,800 spend) |
Platinum | 60 | 14,000 (โฌ5,600 spend) |
Diamond | N/A | 26,000 (โฌ10,400 spend) |
In other words, all Accor Plus members will receive, at a minimum, ALL Silver status (which requires 10 status nights).
Moreover, if you were an Accor Plus member as of 31 July 2023, with membership renewal by 31 December 2023, you will be upgraded to ALL Gold (which requires 30 status nights)
โ Why “by 31 December 2023?” |
Status nights reset on 1 January each year, so if your renewal comes after 1 January 2024, then the 20 status nights granted on 31 July 2023 will have already lapsed. |
Obviously, you could be upgraded beyond Gold if you have other qualifying stays to date. For example, someone who had 20 status nights prior to 31 July 2023 and whose membership renews on 30 September 2023 would end up with a total of 60 status nights, qualifying for ALL Platinum (which requires 60 status nights).
Sadly, ALL Diamond can only be achieved through spending, so your night count is irrelevant.
Here’s a quick recap of the benefits available at each tier of ALL.
How much does an Accor Plus membership cost?

Tier | Cost | Includes |
Traveller | S$308 |
|
Explorer | S$418 or 12,000 ALL points |
|
Explorer Plus | S$538 |

Accor Plus memberships range from S$308 to S$538 in Singapore, with the main difference between tiers being the number of complimentary Stay Plus nights.
What’s particularly interesting is that an Accor Plus Explorer membership is available for S$418 or 12,000 ALL points. 2,000 ALL points are worth โฌ40, so that’s equivalent to buying the membership for ~S$353 at current exchange rates, or a 15% discount.
Standard Accor Plus benefits include:
- 10% off best available public rate
- Up to 50% off member exclusive room rates with with Red Hot Room offers
- Up to 50% off dining across 1,400 restaurants in Asia Pacific
- 25% off dining: 1 member only
- 50% off dining: 1 member and 1 guest
- 33% off dining: 1 member and 2 guests

Some examples of participating Accor Plus restaurants in Singapore include Prego, Mikuni and Asian Market Cafe at the Fairmont, SKAI, The Stamford Brasserie, CLOVE, at Swissotel and The Cliff and Kwee Zeen at the Sofitel Sentosa Resort.
Each Stay Plus certificate can be used for a one-night stay at participating hotels across Asia Pacific. Obviously, you’ll want to save this for a high-end chain like Sofitel or Mondrian, and steer clear of the cheaper ones.
Which credit cards offer Accor Plus membership?
As an alternative to buying an Accor Plus membership outright, two credit cards in Singapore offer a complimentary Accor Plus Explorer membership.
Card | Min. Income | Annual Fee |
AMEX HighFlyer Card | S$30,000 | S$301.80 |
DBS Vantage Card | S$120,000 | S$594 |
While it’s not easy to waive the annual fee for either card, it’s not impossible either:
- AMEX HighFlyer Card annual fee can be waived subject to an internal review that looks at your spending and tenure with American Express
- DBS Vantage Card annual fee can be waived with a minimum spend of S$60,000 in a membership year
If the annual fee is waived, you will still enjoy a renewal of the Accor Plus Explorer membership.
Conclusion
Accor Plus members can now enjoy 20 status nights each year of membership, with an additional one-time bonus of 20 status nights for members as of 31 July 2023. This will unlock ALL Gold for Accor Plus members whose membership renews by 31 December 2023, which brings with it incremental benefits over Silver such as a room upgrade.
I’m one of those who will be sitting on 40 status nights before long, and that makes shooting for Platinum this year all the more tempting…
I’m keeping my Amex HF, and even paying the AF if need be because of this perk.
My Accor Plus membership renewed in end-June 2023 and I was awarded 40 nights….only for 20 of those nights to be deducted a few days later, recorded in my status history as ‘Account Regularization: Accorplus subscription -> -20 nights’
Not very sure, but I thought accorplus status renewal review the past 12 months activities to decide the new membership year’s status… Since renewal 20 nights only came in after you renew accorplus membership, meaning it won’t be counted together with one off 20 nights awarded for those existing member as of 31 Jul.
nope, accor status nights are tracked by calendar year.
The loyalty programme offers 5 statuses awarded according to the number of Status Nights spent or the number of Status points earned over a calendar year (from January to December)
Hi for explorer account obtained from DBS Vantage card has anyone managed to do a paid upgrade topup the difference to explorer plus with accord ? Thanks
If my Accor Plus was renewed sometime in July, I wouldnโt enjoy the additional bonus of 20 status nights?
you will enjoy a one-time bonus credited on 31 july 2023. however, your next 20 nights will come in july 2024, so you won’t be able to enjoy gold this year.
i got mine accor silver via the DBS Vantage in mid sept. (applied in August. but by the time application/approval/dingdog etc , it eneded up in Sept) does it mean, i wont have the 20 status nights? or is there a way to appeal?
i dont know what grounds there are to appeal. the rules are very clear cut: not member as of 31 july= no bonus 20 nights
Oh wait. Your right.
Idk why I read it as 31 august. Must be the lack of caffeine.
Aaron, is there as separate link somewhere that talks about EXISTING members getting 20 bonus status nights in the Accor Live Limitless (ALL) programme?
From your link provided, it seems that it only mentions that if you are a new member, you will get 20 nights, and upon next renewal, you will get 20 status nights, making it only 20 bonus status nights at a go, not 40 nights for existing members. I asked the chat and they confirmed that same understanding too.
It’s in the press release. And I personally have received it even though my renewal hasn’t happened yet.
Is this press release still under embargo? Canโt seem to see it on the website.
Also, members who had their memberships renewed before 31 July would seem to really miss out then! Massive wasteโฆ

Been an Accor Plus Member for years now, this 20 nights additional is a big plus for those who only stays less than 20 nights a year, a fast road to Gold member. Sadly Singapore Pullman n Mondrian are not in the comp free stay plus night. Better use it in other cities, like Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit… awesome!
Possible to renew early? Eg. By signing up for the other credit card in the list, or gasp, paying up.
If I apply both Amex HF and DBS vantage, do i get 2 accor plus membership?
if renewal is done in sep2023, there will be 20+20 status nights and hence gold. does that mean that the gold benefit will be gone by 1-jan-2024, since itโs by calendar year?
if you qualify for gold in sep 2023, your status is valid till 31 december 2024. year of qualification + 1 more year.
If my membership renews in Oct, and I have 28 nights now, do I need to finish another 2 nights before Oct or is it by Dec? And how long will the gold status last? Till Dec or next renewal?
whats the “welcome amenity “?
