A minimum qualifying spend must be made in order to be eligible for the gifts.

“Qualifying Spend” refers to any retail transactions (including internet purchases) which do not arise from:
(i) any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases,
(ii) refunded/disputed/unauthorised/fraudulent retail purchases,
(iii) Quick Cash and other instalment loans,
(iv) Citi PayLite/Citi Flexibill/cash advance/quasi-cash transactions/balance transfers/annual card membership fees/interest/goods and services taxes,
(v) bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds,
(vi) late payment fees and (vii) any other form of service/ miscellaneous fees.
(vii) Citi PayAll transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi PayAll service fee.
For avoidance of doubt, using Citi PayAll will count towards qualifying spend, provided the admin fee is paid. Citi is currently offering 1.8 mpd on all transactions till 29 February 2024, with a minimum spend of S$8,000.

Conclusion
SingSaver is now offering some of the biggest gifts we’ve ever seen for new-to-bank CIMB, Citi and StanChart card applicants.

no, it means that you can’t apply for 2x scb cards at one go as a new-to-bank customer and get 2x gifts. you only count as new for the first card you apply for (not first EVER card, as your interpretation goes).

I used the link in the article to apply and obtained an ARN this morning. But in the afternoon I checked my email inbox noted Singsaver has been waiting for me to complete application.… so I clicked in the button in and start over the whole application and got a new ARN. My question – will CIMB take the 1st or the 2nd one as my NTB application? BTW, in Singsaver I’ve put the 2ns ARN to reserve the award so just want to be sure. Thanks.

The Singsaver T&C posted on the website, and the T&C link on this page seems to be abit different. It seems that CIMB promo is only valid for 17/11, if it is based on the T&C posted on Singsaver website.
singsaver ended its own campaign ahead of schedule on 17/11. for singsaver affiliates the offer continues until 6 p.m on 18/11.

Citibank page does not show the application ID at the end of the sign up process. It just says “Thank you for your applicationWe’ll get in touch with you soon to update you on the status of your application.” Is there a problem?

Singsaver tnc says the credit card’s approval must be given by 19 December 2023 but the bank only process card application on working day.
Is there a conflict in the tnc and bank processing period?
yes, this seems a bit scammy. the promo only started 17 december 2023 which is a Friday. unless the bank gave instant approval there is little chance to meet the conditions of the promotion.
i applied for CIMB on 17 dec and of course there’s no news yet
To increase the chances, applied 2 ntb cards. Both applications had successfully submitted to singsaver.
Unfortunately, both cards had to get approval by 19 Nov 2023. Cso from both banks shared that processing are done on weekdays.
Guess singsaver did not check the calender when they decide the date.

I applied for the CIMB credit card on 17Nov, but I still haven’t received the redemption from SingSaver:-(.
There’s a pop up window when you apply for CIMB card, do not close that window, after you have successfully applied to CIMB, you need to go back to this window to proceed further to enter the application number.
Oh no! I just realized that the redemption form was sent to my gmail, but my application form was indicated another email address. So no sure what email address I should fill in now:-(

With the numerous mentions of this campaign being run by Singsaver, one would assume that is is probably less ambiguous to apply directly via Singsaver?
But in any case, besides Singsaver’s sudden move to downgrade gifts, which appears rather distasteful, it is also worth noting that their fulfilment process is poorly managed as it seems common that many people did not receive the said “reward redemption form” despite being told that it would be emailed to us. The customer service officer who replied me did not address this question at all.
All in all, a Singsaver campaign that is poorly run.
I applied for the CIMB Visa Infinite card on 17th Nov at 2.20pm and received a SMS yesterday (20th Nov) stating that the application was unsuccessful. I definitely meet the requirements of the card. Is this outcome likely due to overwhelming response of this promo?
