Amaze Card offering 2,000 bonus InstaPoints for wallet and card-linked spend

From 1-15 November 2026, the Amaze Card is offering up to 2,000 bonus InstaPoints for wallet and card-linked spend, but only for spending beyond your personalised spend goal — which can be substantial.

Amaze has launched a new promotion offering cardholders 3 bonus InstaPoints per S$1 spent from 1-15 November 2026, equivalent to 1 mpd or a cash rebate of 1.5-3.75%.

Normally, InstaPoints are only awarded for wallet-linked spend — which means giving up credit card rewards. However, this promotion covers both wallet-linked and card-linked spend, allowing customers to double dip on credit card rewards and InstaPoints.

The catch is that the bonus only applies to incremental spending above your personalised spend goal, which reportedly ranges from as low as S$300 to as high as S$2,200. Moreover, the campaign lasts just 15 days, and since transactions must post by 15 November, the “safe” window to spend is a few days shorter.

Honestly, it’s a bit of a meh promotion, but since most people use card-linked Amaze anyway, you won’t have to change your spending habits to participate.

Amaze offering 3 bonus InstaPoints per S$1

Amaze cardholders will have received a personalised qualifying spend amount (QSA) via email or push notification.

Any spend made in excess of the QSA from 1-15 November 2026 will earn 3 bonus InstaPoints per S$1, on top of the usual InstaPoints. This is applicable to both wallet-linked and card-linked spend, in both SGD and FCY.

💳 InstaPoint (IP) Earn Rates
Transaction Currency Wallet-Linked Card-Linked
SGD 0.5 IP per S$1
+ 3 IP per S$1
N/A
+ 3 IP per S$1
FCY

For example, if your QSA is S$300 and you spend S$800, you will earn 1,500 InstaPoints ([S$800 – S$300] x 3).

The bonus is capped at 2,000 InstaPoints for the entire promotional period which means that the ceiling amount which can earn bonus InstaPoints is your QSA + S$667 (2,000 ÷ 3).

Instarem has not provided the full range of QSAs, but here’s what’s been reported in the MileLion Community:

  • S$300
  • S$350
  • S$450
  • S$500
  • S$700
  • S$950
  • S$1,550
  • S$2,200
❓ What about new cardholders?
If you sign up for an Amaze Card during the promotional period, your QSA will be S$300.

As usual, transactions must be at least S$10 to earn InstaPoints. Any spending below S$10 will not earn InstaPoints, though it will still count towards the QSA.

Posting date, not transaction date

This promotion runs for just 15 days, and what makes it trickier is that transactions must post by 15 November 2026 (Singapore time) to be eligible.

Given that transactions usually take between 1-3 days to post, you’re basically gambling with any spending on the final few days of the promotion period. I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with any spending made from 13 November onwards.

When will InstaPoints be credited?

The bonus InstaPoints from this promotion will be credited in the month following the end of the promotion period.

The T&Cs mention fulfilment “from” 16 December 2026 (but not “on”, so you might have to wait until the end of December to see them).

What counts as qualifying spend?

Qualifying spend consists of online and offline spending in SGD and FCY transactions, excluding charitable donations, education, government services, insurance premiums, hospitals and utility bills.

Is it worth it?

2,000 InstaPoints is worth S$25 cashback at most, so it’s not a life-changing bonus.

Whether that’s worth gunning for really boils down to what QSA you were targeted for, and how much you’d normally spend with Amaze anyway.

For most people, the ceiling on Amaze spending is the Citi Rewards Card’s bonus cap of S$1,000 per statement month. As the table below shows, only a QSA of S$300 allows you to earn the full 2,000 InstaPoints bonus without exceeding the Citi Rewards Card’s bonus cap.

QSA Spend to Earn Full Bonus
(QSA + S$667)
S$300 S$967
S$350 S$1,017
S$450 S$1,117
S$500 S$1,167
S$700 S$1,367
S$950 S$1,617
S$1,550 S$2,217
S$2,200 S$2,867
⚠️ Check your statement month!
The Citi Rewards Card’s 4 mpd cap is based on statement month, not calendar month. If your statement month ends within the promotion period, you could have 2x S$1,000 caps to work with.

It’s not impossible to max out the InstaPoints bonus for higher QSAs, but you will need to route some spending through alternative Amaze pairings like the Maybank XL Rewards and OCBC Rewards Card, which only works if your purchases fall into their bonus categories (see below).

In any case, no one’s saying you have to max out the InstaPoints bonus. So long as your QSA falls within your 4 mpd caps, anything you earn is just the icing on the cake.

However, remember that InstaPoints have fixed conversion blocks. Outside of promotions, you can’t earn them from card-linked spend, so it’s possible you end up with orphan points that just expire, or have to settle for inferior value like the 1,000 InstaPoints = S$5 option.

What’s the best card to use with Amaze?

Here’s a quick recap of the best cards to pair with Amaze.

What can you do with InstaPoints?

InstaPoints can be used to offset an Instarem funds transfer, converted to KrisFlyer miles or exchanged for cashback.

🎁 InstaPoints Redemption Options
InstaPoints Reward
100 to 400
S$1.25 to S$5 off an Instarem funds transfer
1,200 400 KrisFlyer miles
1,000 S$5 cashback
2,000 S$25 cashback
1x redemption per month

Given these conversion rates, 3 bonus InstaPoints per S$1 is equivalent to a bonus 1 mpd, or a cash rebate of 1.5% (if you take the 1,000 IPs = S$5 option) or 3.75% (if you take the 2,000 IPs= S$25 option, which is limited to one redemption per month).

Should you go for InstaPoints or KrisFlyer miles? That depends on how much you value an InstaPoint. If you use the 2,000 InstaPoints = S$25 denomination, then you’re effectively paying S$15 for 400 KrisFlyer miles, or 3.75 cents per mile — an insanely high price.

If you use the 1,000 InstaPoints = S$5 denomination, then the cost per mile is 1.5 cents per mile. This is a lot more reasonable, but it’s an open question as to whether that’s the right denomination to be redeeming in the first place.

When do InstaPoints expire?

InstaPoints have a hard expiry of 12 months from the date of crediting. Earning or redemption activity does not extend the life of your balance.

Conclusion

Amaze is offering 3 bonus InstaPoints per S$1 on spending above your personalised QSA from 1-15 November 2026, capped at 2,000 InstaPoints.

Since the bonus applies to card-linked spend, there’s no real cost to participating. You’ll continue earning your usual credit card rewards, with some InstaPoints as a top-up.

Whatever your QSA, remember that transactions need to post by 15 November, so don’t leave it till the last minute.
