*Year-End Promo package is not eligible for SRV (however, other packages at this hotel are) |
Of the packages above, I’d say Hilton Singapore at S$153 nett (room-only) is worth considering (the breakfast there is awful and not worth paying for anyway), provided you’re going for location and don’t mind rooms that are somewhat past their prime.
Look out for the Couples Staycation package at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre. For S$236 nett, you get breakfast and club lounge access- one of the cheapest rates I’ve seen for a club room in Singapore (you’re limited to a one-hour slot for cocktails though).
Oakwood Premier AMTD has been on my to-stay list for a while now, and for S$245 nett you get breakfast, S$60 F&B and welcome cocktails for two people.
Fairmont Singapore is definitely worth considering. For S$284 nett, you get pretty much the same staycation package as the official website (which charges S$359 nett)- free breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children, a S$100 F&B credit, and free parking.
2 nights at the Carlton Singapore for S$410 nett with breakfast included and 4 p.m check-out is worth looking at for those who are looking for a slightly longer stay.
Or if you’re able to take 3 nights off, consider the Sofitel Sentosa. It appears expensive at S$1,018 nett, but it comes with breakfast and you’re really paying for the location. I didn’t have the best impression of the hotel’s service or breakfast when I visited two years ago, but the grounds are vast and pool is undeniably gorgeous.
Conclusion
Don’t forget to stack the packages above with your S$100 SRV to reduce the price even further, should your stay be up to 30 June 2021. Also remember that all bookings made with SRV are strictly non-refundable, so be sure to confirm your plans before pulling the trigger.
Klook’s offer for Conrad includes $80 F&B credit and free breakfast for 2. You may want to update your table.
what’s odd is that the package you’re referring to (Lavish retreat) is not tagged with the year end promo banner, but is much better than the room-only packages which are. so it pays to browse through all the packages for a given hotel; the year end promo may not be the best one
update: there’s some weirdness on the klook site now and packages are mis-pricing on the first page. so be sure to triple check the inclusions of whatever you’re buying.
It looks like Klook has updated their wonky pricing. It’s now $350 for the Lavish Retreat package.
yup! shame, at $250 lavish retreat would have been a steal…
Recently stayed at Grand Hyatt and Fairmont, and it appears that they have very different late check-out policy (and check-in time): Arrived in GH around 4:30pm but was told room wasn’t ready yet, and got the room key around 5:30pm and was given late check-out till 2pm. For my stay at Fairmont, I got the key at 2:30pm (I did mobile check-in also) but they couldn’t give late check-out beyond 12nn. Note: GH was booked thru Klook while Fairmont was booked direct with Accor Silver. Fairmont’s staycation rooms are in north tower, appears to be old-fashioned but actually were renovated… Read more »
For a few dollars more, Fairmont’s 2 night stay can be had for only $311 (nett for 2 nights). With $100 F&B credit and breakfast for 2A2C (not sure if breakfast is provided for the second morning, T&Cs unclear), this deal is star value.
