Klook Weekend Sale: 1-for-1 staycations from S$190 nett

Klook’s latest Staycation Super Savers deals have launched, with 1-for-1 nights on sale at various hotels across Singapore.

These packages are eligible for SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (SRV), and those who spend at least S$50 of SRV will receive a S$50 Klook voucher for a future staycation (valid with min. spend of S$200).

OCBC cardholders can also enjoy S$10/S$20 off a S$50/S$100 Klook e-gift card, which they can use to pay for these 1-for-1 deals and enjoy further savings.

These deals are available for booking up till 11.59 p.m on Sunday 20 June 2021. 

Do note a given hotel may be offering multiple packages. I’ve listed the cheapest one below, but you can click on the link to browse other options (e.g. larger room). 

Hotel G (review) would be a good budget staycation option- it’s quite hard to go wrong at S$190 nett for two nights with breakfast if all you want is a place to Monopoly Deal and chill. 

Those rooms will be very cozy though, so anyone needing more space can consider the One Farrer Hotel (review), where a 66 sqm Mint Suite can be yours at S$499 nett for two nights. This comes with club lounge benefits, including daily breakfast and evening cocktails.

I didn’t particularly enjoy the Duxton Reserve, but perhaps your experience will be different in a Duplex Suite. I doubled checked I wasn’t seeing things with regards to the dinner, which really appears to be for 5 pax (wonder how they’ll do that with the current restrictions on dining though). 

The Shangri-La package is pricey at S$1,550 nett for two nights, but remember it’s for a suite in the Valley Wing, and the Valley Wing experience is quite something. You enjoy perks such as:

• Breakfast at the Summit Room (a much higher quality experience than The Line)
• Unlimited wine, champagne, juice, coffee and tea from 11am to 10.30pm, at the Valley Wing Lounge
• Afternoon tea, from 2pm to 5pm, at the Valley Wing Lounge
• Evening canapés and cocktails, from 5pm to 7pm, at the Champagne Bar 

The Valley Wing Deluxe Suite measures in at a whopping 110 sqm, with space for three adults and 24-hour butler service. 

Other 1-for-1 Deals

Klook is also offering the following deals as part of an ongoing promotion (though it could obviously yank the inventory at any time), for those whose tastes are a bit more upmarket. 

I’d advise you to do a bit of comparison shopping however, especially if you’re a HSBC cardholder. HSBC has a superior offer for the Fullerton Hotel at S$299 nett per night with breakfast for two and guaranteed 6 p.m check-out. 

Conclusion

With dining-in and gyms reopening from 21 June, staycations will be significantly more fun than they were under the previous set of measures.
