Kempinski Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$357.50++ (S$421 nett) for a one-night stay in a Heritage Room, with breakfast for two, S$50 of F&B credits, and complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar beverages, parking and Wi-Fi (all of which are standard benefits accorded to every guest anyway).
If you’re outside the first 50, the rate increases to S$400++ (S$471nett) and there’s no F&B credits for you.
While this is higher than previous WOW Weekend deals we’ve seen at Kempinski, it’s important to remember that the 45sqm Heritage Room is two categories higher than the lead-in 32 sqm Classic Room. GHA Titanium members may find it attractive for a shot at a Stamford Suite upgrade, and these bookings are eligible for elite benefits and D$ earning.
How to book
Bookings can be made via the following links. If the first 50 bookings link does not work, it means the deal has been fully redeemed.
Hotel review
Frequent readers will know that I’m a big fan of the Kempinski, which delivers great service and one of the best breakfast experiences in Singapore. It’s been a while since my visit, but you can check out my September 2020 experience below.

Goodwood Park Review |
This deal is only valid for the first 50 bookings, who will pay S$355++ (S$418 nett)/ S$385++ (S$453 nett) for a weekday/weekend stay in a Poolside Suite, with breakfast for two, S$100 F&B credit, and 15% off F&B.
This is probably a better deal than what we saw last October. Even though the rate has increased by S$5++, the F&B credits have increased by S$20. There’s no more welcome bottle of wine, but it’s not like they were giving out Screaming Eagle or anything.
How to book
All bookings must be made via email at rmresv@goodwoodparkhotel.com; quote HSBC WOW weekend.
Hotel review
Despite the Goodwood Park Hotel’s age, rooms in the Lobby Wing (where the Poolside Suites reside) are refreshingly modern, having just completed a renovation in February 2021. I stayed in a renovated Deluxe Premier room back in August last year, and didn’t have any complaints about wear and tear.

Mandarin Oriental Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$357++ (S$420 nett)/S$387++ (S$455 nett) for a weekday/weekend stay in a Marina Bay View Room, with breakfast for two, guaranteed 12 p.m check-in and 5 p.m check-out.
If you’re outside the first 50, the rate increases to S$399++ (S$470 nett)/ S$429++ (S$505 nett) for a weekday/weekend stay in an Ocean View Room, with the same inclusions.
I don’t believe we’ve seen Mandarin Oriental appear on WOW Weekend deals before, but based on rates I’ve seen elsewhere I’d say this is a decent rate as well. Don’t forget to sign up for a Fans of MO membership to enjoy free additional perks.
How to book
All bookings can be made via this link. I assume the system will automatically switch the pricing once the first 50 bookings have been exhausted.
Hotel review
I visited the Mandarin Oriental in January 2021, and I have to say the rooms aren’t exactly cutting edge. That said, the MO BAR experience is excellent, as is the service. If that’s what you’re looking for, I think you’ll have an enjoyable time.

Raffles Hotel Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$1,207.52++ (S$1,421 nett) for two nights in a Stateroom Suite, with breakfast for two, a S$50 boutique credit and S$100 F&B credits.
If you’re outside the first 50 the price increases by S$50 nett, with the same inclusions.
While this is still a good rate for the Raffles, it’s clear the prices are slowly inching up again. Last October, the first 50 bookings paid S$1,177 nett, with S$50 more F&B credits. I probably shouldn’t even bring up the S$936 nett deal I snagged in 2020, which I doubt we’ll ever see again!
How to book
Bookings can be made via the following links. If the first 50 bookings link does not work, it means the deal has been fully redeemed.
Hotel review
I stayed at the Raffles Hotel back in August 2020, and it’s every bit the stellar experience you’d expect (and it better be, for the price!). If budget permits, I’d say it’s something you need to do at least once in your life.

Shangri-La Singapore Review |
The first 50 bookings will pay S$356.52++ (S$420 nett) for a one-night stay in a Valley Wing Deluxe Room on weekdays, and S$492.52++ (S$580 nett) on weekends.
The 51st booking onwards will pay S$50 nett/S$55 nett more for weekends/weekdays, with the same inclusions.
If memory doesn’t fail me, we last saw a WOW Weekend deal for the Valley Wing in October 2020, and surprisingly (given the worse COVID situation back then), rates were higher at S$532 nett. So I’d say it might be worth a punt, especially for those who can make use of the all-day (well, 12 to 10.30 p.m) booze- including champagne!
While the Valley Wing is meant more for couples, I’d rate the overall Shangri-La Singapore as one of the most kid-friendly resorts in Singapore, with a mini water park and a kids club with all-day activities for the younglings.
How to book
All bookings can be made via this link. I assume the system will automatically switch the pricing once the first 50 bookings have been exhausted.
Hotel review
The Shangri-La Valley Wing is a unique experience to say the least- a hotel inside a hotel. Guests have their own private driveway, lobby and lounging areas. You could even go your whole stay without ever mixing with the riffraff elsewhere!
Of course, the Summit Room breakfast continues to be a major draw with its caviar omelettes and steak & eggs (sometimes it’s free flow and at other times they’ve limited guests to two mains; I don’t know what the latest situation is), and you can’t put a price on non-stop champagne all afternoon.

All deals go live at midnight tonight, but unfortunately, only Goodwood Park is available for booking via email. You can compose an email (with dates, number of adults and children, full name and contact number- donโt worry about card details, that will be settled separately) and set Outlook to auto-send it at 12 a.m.
For all the rest, you’ll need to stay up late and play fastest fingers first at the stroke of midnight.
Good hunting!
Thanks for the info! Does the mini water park and kids club in Shangri-la open for all hotel guests, regardless which wing they’re staying at?
that’s right, all guests can go. there is a fee for the kids club though.
The problem with the splash and swimming pool is that you need to pre-book your timing and you can only do this after you checked in (not sure if it’s still the case). We had 3 staycations there over the past year and the 2nd time we can’t even use the pool (all slots are fully booked and on 3rd time we then knew we can check with pool staff to register under waitlist) and 3 times in a row, we can only play splash 11 am before check out (they don’t spare even an hour for late check out… Read more »
There is no more need to book for the swimming pool now under the new smm rules.
