What’s good about Accor Plus?
Stay Plus
Every membership year, Explorer and Explorer Plus members receive one and two Stay Plus complimentary nights respectively, valid at over 1,000 participating hotels across Asia Pacific.
Stay Plus complimentary nights are valid for stays up to 12 months in advance. Cancellation policies follow the hotel’s best available rate, i.e. 24-48 hours before arrival (certain destinations may impose stricter policies; always be sure to read the fine print).
In Singapore, participating properties include the Fairmont Singapore, Sofitel City Centre and SO/Sofitel. It’s tricky to find, but if you’re lucky you can get the occasional date at the Sofitel Sentosa as well.
If you’re heading to Korea on the VTL, you can also use your Stay Plus complimentary night at various Novotels across Seoul including the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, Doksan, Yongsan and Dongdaemun. Alternatively, you can consider the Mondarin Seoul Itaewon, which was recently featured on CNA Luxury.
Depending on where you redeem your certificate(s), the Stay Plus benefit alone can more than cover the cost of a membership- and that’s before taking into account the rest of the perks.
Red Hot Rooms
Red Hot Rooms are periodic flash sales that offer up to 50% off room rates at Accor properties across Asia Pacific.
For example, right now we’re seeing Red Hot rates at Sofitel Sentosa, where rooms start from S$248++ (S$292 nett) per night.
The best public rate I could find is upwards of S$350++ (S$412 nett), so there’s certainly savings to be had.
During previous Red Hot Room sales, we’ve seen the Fairmont Singapore going at S$144 nett, and Grand Mercure going at S$64 nett, virtually mattress run prices.
10% extra off public rates and sales
Besides Red Hot Room offers, Accor Plus members save 10% more than the general public on regular rates and other sales. For example, during the recent Mastercard Room to Rediscover sale, Accor Plus members saved 43% off the best available rate, versus 33% for everyone else.
Likewise, they saved 60% off (public: 50%) during September’s flash sale and 40% off (public: 30%) during a similar event in June.
Up to 50% off dining & 15% off drinks
Accor Plus members enjoy up to 50% off the food bill at participating restaurants across Asia Pacific. Here’s how the discount tiers:
- 25% off dining – 1 member only
- 50% off dining – 1 member and 1 guest
- 33% off dining – 1 member and 2 guests
- 25% off dining- 1 member and 3 guests
- 15% off on drinks in Asia
Participating Accor Plus restaurants in Singapore include Prego, Mikuni, Asian Market Cafe and Szechuan Court at the Fairmont, SKAI, Bar Rouge, Cafe Swiss and Kopi Tiam at Swissotel The Stamford and The Cliff, The Garden, Kwee Zeen at the Sofitel Sentosa.
Unlike other dining membership programs where you’re limited to discounts in your home country, Accor Plus dining discounts are valid in 20 different countries across Asia Pacific.
That’s to say, you could go to Australia, Cambodia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, China, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam and enjoy Accor Plus dining benefits at participating hotel restaurants.
And yes, it includes breakfast too, so you could book a room-only rate and add on breakfast at half the usual cost.
ALL Silver status
Accor Plus members receive complimentary Silver status with Accor Live Limitless (ALL).
Silver status is the second lowest tier in the ALL programme, so you shouldn’t expect room upgrades, lounge access or free breakfast. That said, some status is better than none, and you do get a welcome drink on arrival. In some places, this goes all the way up to champagne, and in others, it’s a soft drink; YMMV.
Conclusion

Accor Plus memberships are going at 13% off the usual price, which represents a great opportunity to hop onboard.
For the sake of comparison, when I first wrote about Accor Plus in 2018 the going rate for an Explorer Plus membership was S$478, so it’s even cheaper now three years later.
When will this flash sale end?
the end date hasn’t been publicised, so it isn’t clear.

Is there anyway way to have an idea of free rooms availability if youโre not a member?
I’ve previously tried and Googled this. There was several results posting the link of these Accor Plus Complimentary Nights search function. I had managed to find the availability of free nights for many properties. Not sure if it still works now…
