Visa Infinite Privilege is a new tier that was recently introduced in Singapore and Asia Pacific, intended to bridge the mass affluent Visa Infinite and the ultra-high-net-worth Visa Infinite Private.
This is the highest tier that someone without a private banking relationship can realistically aspire to, and offers notably better privileges than a regular Visa Infinite.
In this post, I’ll explain all the benefits enjoyed by Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers. If you’re looking for the benefits available to Visa Infinite, refer here instead.
Which cards belong to Visa Infinite Privilege?
At the time of publishing, we’re still waiting for the first Visa Infinite Privilege card to be announced in Singapore.
That said, DBS Insignia and UOB Reserve cardmembers have reported seeing their cards classified as Visa Infinite Privilege when they log in to the My Visa portal. With Insignia it’s irregular, suggesting there’s some backend testing in the works.
UOB has already announced its plans for Visa Infinite Privilege and Private cards in Singapore and ASEAN, so it’s only a matter of time — I definitely expect to see some options by the end of 2026.
What benefits does Visa Infinite Privilege offer?
ALL Accor+ Explorer membership

Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers enjoy a complimentary 12-month ALL Accor+ Explorer membership.
Unlike the 6-month ALL Accor+ Explorer membership offered to Visa Infinite cardmembers — which is not available to cards issued in Singapore, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, or Indonesia — this tier has no geographical restrictions. If you have a Visa Infinite Privilege, you enjoy the benefit, period.
This membership includes:
- ALL Accor Gold status
- 15% off the public rate at 5,000+ hotels worldwide
- 30% off dining and 15% off drinks across Asia Pacific
- Exclusive member events and partner benefits
- Access to Red Hot Rooms and More Escapes
There are two key differences between the complimentary membership and a fully-paid one.
First, the complimentary membership offers ALL Accor Gold status, while the fully paid membership offers 30 status nights. It’s functionally the same thing, because 30 status nights will automatically qualify you for ALL Accor Gold, but the mechanism is different.
Basically, a fully paid member has the option of staying an additional 30 nights to upgrade to ALL Accor Platinum, whereas the trial member does not.
Second, the complimentary membership does not include the two Stay Plus free night certificates, which allow members to buy one night and get a second one free. That’s fair enough — I wouldn’t have expected it to include this either.
Otherwise, the rest of the benefits are the same, including 30% off dining and access to Red Hot Rooms sales. If you frequent one of the participating restaurants, or plan to stay at a participating hotel, you could really get some value out of this complimentary membership.
Avis President’s Club

Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers receive an instant upgrade to Avis President’s Club status, which includes:
- Priority service at the counter
- Priority rental car availability
- Free additional driver
- Single upgrade guaranteed at rail stations and airports, upon availability at downtown locations
- Double upgrade for select car classes upon availability on weekends
Do note that benefits vary by location, so the treatment you receive as a President’s Club member in Europe may be different from the USA.
Even though Avis President’s Club is supposedly by invitation only, you might want to moderate your expectations. Avis has been very liberal with the invitations, such that President’s Club members are almost a dime a dozen when renting from some airports. Based on my experiences so far, recognition has gone from excellent (served immediately, upgraded to a luxury vehicle) to non-existent (“what’s President’s Club?”).
But here’s the thing: you don’t need a Visa Infinite Privilege card to enjoy this perk, because it’s also available to Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cardmembers too. Yes, Visa Signature, which anyone can get with a minimum income of S$30,000 in Singapore!
DragonPass fast-track passes

eCommerce purchase protection

It sounds similar to the kind of service that Quintessentially, Quotient or Lightfoot provides, and should be useful for those who don’t have the time to plan their own trips, or want it to be curated by an expert eye.
GHA DISCOVERY Titanium

Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers receive an instant upgrade to GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status, the highest (published) tier in the programme.
Upgrade requests must be submitted by 31 December 2026, and once upgraded, your status will be valid till 31 December 2027. There’s no real incentive to delay, since the expiry is the same regardless of when you submit your request.
The offer is valid for both new and existing GHA DISCOVERY members. If you’re a new member, you’ll need to create an account before registering. If you’re an existing member, simply provide your existing account number for the upgrade.

It’s worth noting that this used to be a privilege extended to regular Visa Infinite cardmembers as well, though it was removed with the launch of Visa Infinite Privilege.
HoteLux Elite Plus membership

This allows them to book luxury privilege rates such as Hyatt Prive, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club and Marriott STARS directly through the app.

The main advantage of HoteLux isn’t access to these rates, since almost any travel advisor can book them. Instead, it’s the convenience. Travel advisors are generally prohibited from offering these rates through OTA-style booking interfaces, which means you’ll have to call or email to make bookings — a horribly archaic process in this day and age.
Bookings made under luxury privileges rates enjoy additional benefits such as:
- Daily breakfast
- Up to US$100 hotel dining or spa credit per stay
- Room upgrade (subject to availability)
- Early check-in & late check-out (subject to availability)
- Welcome amenities
In other words, you receive all the perks of elite membership, without actually needing to have it. There are also third/fourth/fifth night free offers and bonus hotel credits from time to time, depending on the property.
Luxury privileges rates are priced the same as the hotel’s best flexible rate, and follow the same cancellation policy.
Even though these are technically third-party bookings, they are still eligible to enjoy elite benefits, and earn elite night credits and hotel points, where applicable.

Unlike those “free messaging” plans you might have used onboard airplanes, which support text-only messaging, this also includes data calling and photos.
With coverage for 123 countries, it should be a useful fallback option in emergencies where you’ve run out of data on all your other plans, and don’t have Wi-Fi handy.

Visa Infinite Concierge
All Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers have access to the Visa Concierge, which can provide assistance with flight, hotel and activities bookings, restaurant reservations, itinerary planning, securing concert tickets, and sourcing hard-to-find items.
I would expect Privilege cardmembers to receive better service than regular Visa Infinite customers, though I haven’t had any personal experiences and can’t honestly say.
In the past, I’ve found the concierge useful for making reservations in countries where online bookings aren’t a thing, and English isn’t widely spoken (e.g. Japan, though keep in mind that they won’t be able to book restaurants which only open slots to high-end hotels). Here’s an example of an itinerary they put together for my trip to New York in 2022.

Visa Infinite Golf

Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers enjoy complimentary green fees with one paying guest, capped at one booking per quarter and four bookings per year.
They also enjoy higher priority for bookings than Visa Infinite cardmembers, with the ability to book from the 1st of each month (compared to the 2nd for Visa Infinite).
This benefit is available in Singapore (Sembawang Country Club, Sentosa Golf Club, Tanah Merah Country Club and Warren Golf & Country Club) and across Asia Pacific.
Bookings must be made at least five working days in advance, and no more than 14 calendar days in advance, which effectively means you can forget about playing in the second half of the month (since all slots will surely be taken by the time the booking window opens).
Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection

Visa Infinite Privilege cardmembers enjoy an additional benefit at a smaller selection of ~200 Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection hotels, which upgrades the credit to US$100.
I’m not convinced this is much of a perk, because you can book similar luxury travel advisor rates through Classic Travel or HoteLux for free— no Visa Infinite necessary. Moreover, these platforms let you book the chain’s own advisor rates (e.g. Marriott STARS), which will generally be prioritised for upgrades over Visa Infinite.
What about Visa Infinite Private?
Visa Infinite Private is the pinnacle of the Visa hierarchy, and its eligibility criteria and benefits are shrouded in secrecy.
That said, you can safely assume that Visa Infinite Private enjoys all the benefits that Visa Infinite Privilege and Visa Infinite cardmembers enjoy. In addition to this, I’ve been able to spot the following on the My Visa portal.

Conclusion
Here’s a quick summary of the incremental perks that Visa Infinite Privilege enjoys over Visa Infinite:

However, the bigger question isn’t whether the Visa Infinite Privilege benefits are worth paying for in isolation, but what the complete package will look like once Singapore banks start issuing these cards. Given that we don’t yet know the annual fees, income requirements or issuer-specific benefits, it’s too early to make a call on the value proposition.
For now, the Visa Infinite Privilege tier certainly looks like a meaningful step up from Visa Infinite, though time will tell whether the premium will be worth it.
